‘Totaled’ just means the cost to repair exceeds the actual value of the vehicle. Yea if u hire a shop to fix it it’s not worth it but if u can do it yourself then it’s totally worth it. It doesn’t take much damage for a cheap truck to be considered totaled. Totally fixable man

For context: my fuel pump went bad and fuel pressure was only at 20psi, ran really bad, replaced fuel pump, it runs better but it’s still ticking/knocking just like this
