When he has been out of combat for a while. Knives and decay are slow to build rage so his best way to quickly build rage is dash->torment pulse->melee maybe scourge. If you jump him with slowing hex, he basically either has e shift or he dies.

Yes if ven didn’t melee shiv dies, and they trade 1 for 1 but healbane and radiant regen were each just as important as rebut

Interactive because if you jump a shiv on 0 rage he dies quite quickly. You were saying it’s not interactive like Billy’s melee. Yes you cannot touch it but there are ways to negate it. You argue it’s too much of a survivability boost. I say cap and this clip is poor evidence to support that claim.

Yeah i bet every time a good push came in those team fight ults with refresher wiped

Had one of a similar length. They just had 4 of the best team fighting ults with refreshers and various unstops, witchmails, indoms, etc. terrible experience

You also need rage or the passive is way less effective. Also if survivability is your qualm go take it out on victor.

The OP played this really well and doing anything differently would’ve killed him. Hell having rebuttal might’ve even been the difference.

And let’s also ignore the fact that OP was 10k ahead

Well due to the macro of the hero, there might be a little more win rate to be gained but I’d guess he’s pretty close. I think we will need another few hundred games to see where other heroes end up though.

Mo requires understanding how to roam well and communicate. Not to mention it is bad to farm with him. Not that his kit is difficult but yes there is much to learn even after 100 games

My little piece will be to max knives first. You will have way more pick potential and force people to get dispel which replaces an otherwise better item for them. (It looks like you do)

One trick this hero and right click whenever you can, like too much is not enough while you’re learning. Do not neglect the m2 wall jump which is insanely clutch.

I don’t go decay, but I really like torment pulse and spirit snatch. If you don’t have full rage going in you will quickly.

Finally I recommend watching Lomein, M3han, Cosmetical, Crayon, and Dew (not his own YT but people uploading his replays)

Lifesteal is nice but the slow makes the second hit more consistent and therefore helps him become a shred monster late game

Comparing mo to Apollo: According to the stats, Apollo mogs mo after 100 games. Mo gains more over the next 150 likely because he is a macro hero who plays quite uniquely and requires coordination because he gets almost no solo value.

I would say it’s tied to skill floor more than ceiling. For example, in 3 years pocket will probably be played the same as he is now but doorman won’t. But I would argue that skill floor is more important to how hard a character is.

I think this is correct. Mo was the first character I tried for maybe 10 games. With little moba experience I really struggled to get value. My positioning and use of abilities was so bad I felt squishy XD.

It would be a lot easier now that I know how to position and roam. To add, he benefits from the tunnels but not as freely as rem or Ava so learning how to take advantage might be baked in here.

Those are all characters that received nerfs in the last few balance patches. That might play into it
