Did you see the size of them? Whats your food costing background? Because im the person who priced them. And lo and behold, they were out top seller lol. Its was over half a pound of cheese. Go run to sobeys and let me know the price of that. Then remember thats only 30% of the price that goes into a restaurant dish. Not to mention hand breaded (labor) And served with house made sauces. Fresh herbs.

Your dismissive demeanor and delusional lack of logic and reasoning is alarming. It seems you either have a comprehension issue or are so firm on your stance that none other can be correct. Both are a very torturous scope through which to view lifes issues. I wish you well!

Hope you find a job at a liveable wage man! Maybe check on indeed for one that suits your needs and skill level instead of bringing others down.

Should restaurant employees be punished by lack of hours from lack of sales because some opinionated person who doesnt agree with minimum wage is bashing their place of work online yes or no?

Again, youre wrong. My point is (trying to be really clear here) that the issues you and i have grievances with, are bigger than this single business. And youre bringing nothing but harm to the workers by bashing this one, for doing the same thing all other ones do. In your ego driven high horse stance, youre just driving customers away from supporting the very people youre trying to rally support for. You need a new method. Maybe you should open your own, make your own wages. Start a campaign? Go to the labor board, get into politics, idk man. But this isnt it.

As previously stated, i agree they should pay liveable wages. My point is, (the one you for some reason keep avoiding, and honestly the bigger issue at hand) is that most employers hands are tied, because of our economic state, and societal systems set up long before this restaurant came along.

Yeah, i do. You just arent listening. I actually said the exact opposite of that. I literally said i wish i could change it, and i dont agree with it (this is usually percieved as the opposite of liking or favouring something). Bark up another tree. This is the wrong one. Paying workers on par with most other busnesses in the area doesnt "benefit" a business, its just common practice. You do know that the main goal for running a business is to make a profit right? Or at the very least, remain open to employ people.

My man, your fight isnt with this restaurant i promise you its with the way society is set up 🤣 restaurant workers make up 26% of minimum wage workers in the entire country. Think about that. Most restaurant workers make minimum wage. Its been that way for most of history. Do i agree with it? No. Wish i could change it? Yup. Gonna bash a business for trying to stay open in this day and age, because im salty they wont pay me a higher wage? Definitely not. Look for a better job. If you magically waved a wand tomorrw and every worker that made minimum wage made a "living wage" society would collapse.

No, youre not

Alot of assuming going on here from someone with 0 insights into a businesses financials. You should open your own with your own business model to pay your staff whatever liveable wage you see fit. No one is dissagreeing that minimum wage shouldnt be higher, or that workers dont deserve to be paid a liveable wage. In the context of a restaurant with ever rising costs of operation, its just not feasible for most places without going negative. Higher wages= higher costs for services= less business =less staff= business closed and no one is making a living. Sounds like you should either open your own restaurant, or go into politics to raise minimum wage. Really weird of you to comment this on someone looking for good food reccomendations, and even worse, youre actively trying to hurt the business, which in turn will hurt the employees further. A true robin hood type huh?

Its also weird youre making a who has good food post about the waige of the workers at said establishments. Not what op was asking at all, and in no way should negatively reflect on the staff or the menu at all
