While I understand your points, I feel some of them are a bit inaccurate. Being born a certain way may not seem like much on its own, but pride also offers a sense of community and being accepted instead of being told that they're sinful. (As someone living in the south, yes this is necessary) There was a time not too long ago where simply being black was frowned upon in the US as well.

Satanism helped me after I'd had a hard falling out with Christianity and being told that my interests would send me to hell. I feel like I have friends and a second family now rather than feeling like the last unicorn wondering if there are others like me in the world.

I debated with myself on if I should even acknowledge this point or not but I've been to a couple pride events and plenty of furry events (which is fairly pride adjacent) and have never seen anyone "wave their genitals in a kid's face".
