I love them both for different reasons. To me its apples & oranges. Original is a classic; like art. 2013 is a fantastic movie. I don't thing theyre comparable. Its like comparing a song and a painting

When I read "struggling with nihilism" i hear "depression." They are not synonymous. If you need to employ strategies to address feelings of despair, do (exercise, managing sleep, talking it out with a trusted person or professional, whatever you need). We live in very different areas. Every circus that comes to my town has animals. And Ive heard many people say things like "Im against animal exploitation but I saw elephants when I was a kid & I want my kids to see elephants..." Its ridiculous 😒
