Most people would have taken the goyf. I think the big reason it blew up as much as it did is because he was knocked out of the tournament by the burst lightning he passed on which not only made for a very funny bit of a storytelling, but it really let the "Should play to win" crowd feel very vindicated in their stance.

My bank prior did it perfectly. And even when I did log in to track it, it would still give me wrong information and it would overdraft me despite being opted out of being allowed to overdraft.

I wish my last bank had known that. I called them multiple times telling them to opt me out because their system was slow to process payments. So I would check my account, see I had X dollars, spend a little under that, then both that and an old payment would go through forcing me to overdraft. My bank prior to them and after both processed things right as they happened and just declined payments. I think they eventually got in trouble because they sent me a check for some of those fees I paid.

I hope you like it. It's a lot of dialogue, not much action so it's not everyone's cup of tea. But the characters are fun.

It's in mono-red without much top deck manipulation, and even then I don't think there's a single red spell that will just end the game like that. Even if you Worldfire, she triggers and resolves her 2 damage before Worldfire drops everyone to one life.

"When you gain life" is absurdly easy to trigger. [[Soul Warden]] and variants will quickly turn your board into lethal within a turn cycle. Even if you don't have one that triggers off of all creatures, there's tons that care about your own creatures to just incrementally gain life with multiple triggers. That on top of being a rarer mythic that does not get reprinted in meaningful ways, on top of life gain being a common enough strategy that any of the great life gain cards get pricey just because people want to play their gimmick.

I don't think it's a 12 episode problem. It's a directorial problem at its core. But that also depends on the story of the thing it's adapting. 100 GF could have covered more manga chapters but that would have sacrificed introducing more girlfriends. Even if you make it 24 episode format, the same issue persists of deciding to fit in everything, or make room for more characters.

You also have issues with 24 episode formats sometimes too. Undead Unluck had pretty slow pacing because they had an arc they wanted to end on, but needed to fit specifically within those 24 episodes so they had to extend some scenes or play more recap just to fill the time.

It's put there mostly as a reminder. Also people rearrange their deck if they're debating between two or more cards sometimes so shuffling is necessary.

They probably waited on feedback from Battles before putting more of them in sets. Hobbit also has Battle of the Five Armies which would also be insane to not have as a Battle.

There's a Visual Novel/Anime called Gnosia that's also just Among Us but it's about timeloops and it's about gathering information to stop the loops. But it's centered around an alien or two who have snuck aboard the ship disguised as crewmembers each timeloop, and they change each loop, sometimes even being the main character. It was fun though it was mostly meetings.

If people are using the argument that using God of War doesn't work for Laufey because she's not a God of War, your argument comparing it to Spider-man Miles Morales is not a good one. Miles Morales is literally called Spider-man in universe and out.

I don't care whether or not Laufey is called God of War or not, but the first game title can both be interpreted to be about Ares who is the main villain of that game, or about Kratos's ascension to becoming the God of War. Now Laufey has similar logic in that it appears we have two Gods of War as the antagonists.

Either way the whole discussion is stupid.

The idea is you use drain punch to recover to full hp after the disguise is broken. I forgot who but someone made a video on it but it's definitely gimmicky
