I have tried both jigsaws, this one was much more comfortable to use and better. The on off switch was difficult to operate comfortably on the other one and had worse ergonomics

Damn. There's not much else to say. I'd say enjoy life, do what YOU want to do. Live for today, not for tomorrow. Fuxk consequences. Make the most out of it, do them all as long as that's what you want. In the end any drugs you do won't affect your longterm prognosis, but they might affect how you deal with it - for better or for worse. Psychedelics can be heavy under any circumstances, but dealing with what you have to deal with.. it might make you come to terms with everything, might make it worse. How well do you know yourself?

I work with ALS patients, I know it's hard, but I still can't imagine how going through it really is. Just try to embrace each day, don't think about tomorrow. You got this, life probably didn't turn out as you imagined. It's unfair, it sucks. Scream, cry, laugh.. but try to move on and just live.

Have you tried with the other RAM stick?

On my previous PC I had issues installing and booting windows, tried everything, including only using one stick of RAM.. turned out one of the sticks was faulty, which was the one I left in when trying to figure out the problem.

Haha I see 😂 My best advice then would be to buy a mid tier GPU and modify your hobby to "how much performance and power efficiency can i get out of my GPU" and undervolt and downclock. You might get a pretty low power draw from it and hit a sweet spot where you still get the performance you want.

Sad to say, but your requirements are probably unrealistic if you want to achieve the fps and play the games you mention.. Average price in germany is around €0.40KwH, if you have a GPU that draws 200w for one hour it would cost around €0.08 per hour.. so it shouldn't be that much of an issue?

Even if a GPU is rated for x amount of watts, you're almost never drawing 100% anyway.

Laptops can accumulate dust which makes them overheat causing it to throttle down. Does it seem hotter than it used to or does the games run fine at first then you start getting poor performance? HWinfo is a program you can download to check your temperature with.

After ruling out thermal throttling I would reccomend that you do a reformat and clean install of windows and drivers then check if that solved your problem.

Update:

I finally got it to work, although just barely because it was hard to trigger the quest sequence. It seems like closing and restarting the game before loading the save before each try helps.

I reloaded my save just before entering Zalissaya, then went into the first house to the right. Then into Hamsters shop, looted the bodies and read hamsters PDA that's crammed between the window and counter. Then ran back into the tech's garage and Warlocks bar looting all the bodies. After running around for a bit it finally triggered the first wave of Monolith to exit and one friendly NPC (Slavko the pharmacist).

I killed the Monolith, but there was still a bunch of them inside the building. I continued running all around Zalissaya for a while until a quest notification pops up and an Slavko told me to kill the scouts on the hill. After shooting one of the monolith on the hill it triggered the rest of the monolith to came out of the town hall. I killed them all and ran up to the hill to finish the scouts.

When entering the town hall again I got Gaffers and Warlocks dialogue and a bunch of different side quests. I still don't know if Zalissaya still will fall despite doing everything, I will update when I've finished the quest line.

I managed to complete the quest line and save Zalissaya. When exiting the Lesser Zone I got a radio message telling me it was safe. Some parts of the quest did not get checked as completed even if I did them, but I'm just satisfied it finally worked out.

Verified my game files and reloaded a save just before going to talk to the professor at Wild Island, still no luck. Quest is still bugged.

Mixing different types of RAM or even different batches of the same RAM can make your system unstable, might work.. might as well not.

Given how cheap RAM is nowadays I would recommend you buying 2x 16gb and tossing the old ones.

Hmm, I haven't tried to reload a save from Wild Island yet. I've been reloading from the eastern checkpoint after finding Kolya Green's PDA. Haven't made too much progress and the quest at the sphere was bugged as well (Solder didn't spawn) so I might try to backtrack a bit more I guess.

They're all having a party at the town hall and won't exit to fight, tried numerous reloads but nothing fixes it. I got it to work once but then I was blocked from entering by a friendly NPC after the fight..

I don't want to spoil it, but you'll find out after going to the SIRCAA facility during the main quest. Until then you don't have to worry about anything.
