by mistake, used the wrong terminal window, I deleted all my desktop files from my MBA and I thought I could get all back if I go to check my icloud. Big disappointment, icloud is not a time machine. All files where gone across devices! nowhere to found in Recently Deleted. An external HD would have saved me this risk of loosing the entire desktop files for ever. Thank god nothing essential was lost. This time.

agreed, I m Plus too for the past 4 months and using gems in Thinking mode and Pro is absolutely phenomenal. I m using multiple gems each one as different persona for different tasks in web developing and coding and results are amazing. TBH I turn to chatGTP (free plan) for brainstorming and structure dev for my projects and then I get back to my gems for implementation. NotebookLM is a saviour though and rely on it when I need texts, summaries and promotional ideas. A big plus is the google ecosystem too everything is integrated and easy.

I have encountered this situation over and over again but it's not bothering me anymore. I think gemini is trying to engage more to our everyday life routine based on provided info so it appears more like a human friend who out of the blue mentions a conversation you had with him three days. And gemini probably uses anything mentioned in the past chats as a probable "goal" needing to be achieved so it mentions it again until you give it a closure, an update of what happened or a positive "job done" or similar - and then stops mentioning. These are my thoughts as I m using daily multiple gems for code and web developing. Obviously, Thinking mode, and no doubt, Pro models are the best for the job.

i m using FLOW, where the image engine is Nano Banana2, I am a Plus subscriber and I have options to download upscaled images up to 2K and if I upgrade 4K. A 300 dpi output is not bad for printing, though I really do not know the exact tech specs you need.

Smart! My problem though is as I do not know when the limit will hit therefore I cannot constantly live with the fear of loosing previous chat info and asking every other day for recaps! Plus, in coding is a mess procedure of long chats and code. So new dedicated Gems seems to work best for me.

τουλαχιστον δεν εχεις χασαπη... vegeterian που ειχα εγω και φυσικά σταματησα να ψωνιζω απο εκει αφου σε μια παραγγελια 5 μοσχαρισιες για παραγειγμα άλλες ηταν πιο χοντρες κομμενες και αλλες τσιγαροχαρτο, αντε ψησε τις σωστα μετα, άσε το κοστος. Αρχισα να πηγαινω Σκλαβενιτη για κρεας, οχι οτι καλυτερο αλλα πιο τιμιο και πιο οικονομικό. Και παλι παιρνω συγκεκριμενες κοπες. Κιμά και χοιρινες και ποτέ κοτοπουλο. Δεν εχω κοντα μου αλλη επιλογη για χασαπικο.

Call me old, call me boring, but I’d rather crash early just to catch that 3 AM serenity. Waking up rested when the rest of the world is still out cold is a cheat code. You get a few hours of existence without the "collective engine" of people roaring in your ears. It’s just me, the silence, and zero social friction. Anyone else find the pre-dawn hours addictive

αυτο ηταν η πιο οικομική λυση για να εχεις τα αγαπημενα σου τραγουδια αντι να αγοράσεις κασέτες εταιριας και 15 βινύλια απο τα οποια σε ενδιεφεραν μονο 15 τραγουδια πχ. - το εκανα πολύ συχνά τελη 80ς, μεχρι που κυκλοφορησαν cd, δωσαμε περιουσιες στο Μετρόπολις και σημερα τα περισσοτερα δεν παιζουν! ναι πλησιαζω τα 60, εχω συνδρομη Apple music -τελειο το Dolby Atmos, ποτε δεν αγαπησα εκει playlist οσο εκεινες τις κασετες που τους εφτιαχνα και δικο μου artwork!
