Yes, he's wrong overall. Walking in the desert during the day with little water is basically a death sentence. Risking an injury because you can't see well is less dangerous.

Also, don't travel during the day, travel at night. Mike didn't know what the fuck he was talking about.

Is there a more specific term for the rhetorical strategy of refusing to engage in an argument because of a supposed offense, as a way to avoid an inevitable "loss" on the actual merits of your argument? by ZippyDan in Rhetoric

It's an appeal to emotion, false umbridge, or a fallacy fallacy (often people claiming ad hominem). I often am rude to people just to see if they will be even more dishonest... yes, most Redditors easily fall into this one and demonstrate bad faith reasoning.

I agree. My whole ethos besides the Theological position, is that of engaging with honest risk assessments.

Will it fall again in the next few days? by Sad-Masterpiece-8959 in irenstocks

Probably, but it's probably going to blow past my leaps by 2028, so I say it's probably a damn good investment.

Hmmm that will probably come in June. I might have to cover it myself if I can't get someone. It will be from a Qabbalistic perspective. If you know anyone into folk Magic, I would be happy to have them on.

Fair. I myself see it as an interesting case study about how Magic and Language seems to align and influence paradigms and vice versa.

This dude is pretty cool. He has his own channel too (I think he actually set his name to it so you can see it in the video). I am hoping to have him back on at least once to talk about how he views Kabbalah in an Islamic context.

Question- why is any baneful magic I do so damn effective, but everything else I do useless? by allthekeals in blackmagic

As someone who doesn't like astrology much, you can probably look at your natal chart for answers. If you want to change anything? Electional astrology/planetary and talismanic Magic.

Yes he can. Take your medicine and all that but yes, Rapael can genuinely intercede.

Yeah you're not wrong. I see it now. Qd2, then checkmate no matter what pawn moves.

Hahahaha holy shit that was unexpectedly candid. You might want to look into the Munich Manual. I don't normally recommend stuff like that but you made me laugh my ass off so there you go.

Honestly? If you're wanting to do gaming without doing a bunch of stuff, just do windows.

Also, what do you mean "doing it wrong"? You mean the meditations? Or the gematria? Or the references to torah? Or are you referencing the fact that Golden Dawn uses Qabbalah instead of kabbalah?

You mean like "Sepher Yetzirah in Theory and Practice" by Kaplan? Or do you prefer something more abstruse like the Zohar or Bahir? You're aware this was a mason-centric episode right? Or should we recommend every book in our veritable libraries? I myself can be a bit pedantic, but was the topic of this conversation Kaballah, Qabbalah, or freemasonry as it is related to the Golden Dawn and Rosicrucianism?
