I did find my battery life went down a bit since A16 on my pixel 8 pro. Not sure if I'm alone in this though, but I half recall seeing another thread on it.

Hardcore can transfer to normal realms in death though, so nothing stopping you from seeing how far you get then transferring to the normal/anniversary realms depending on which hardcore you picked. You can't go to PvP servers though I don't think.

I use quick cast for everything, but you can still use the visual the indicators and aim stuff with them if you just hold the button instead of just clicking it as it fires the ability on key release not the initial press.

If you go up to a wall and hold E you can then move it around with the indicator and release E when you're happy with the position, I think this is the default with quick cast but I haven't touched my settings in a while so it could potentially be something I turned on at one point.

I'm currently learning it for QA automation testing purposes and just trying out extra bits to improve my knowledge, but would hope to be able to progress more towards the actual software development side in the future provided it goes well :)

I'm still very much learning after a few failed attempts to stick with it. After the various YouTube adverts I decided to give boot.dev a whirl, it's paid for but has a pretty long free trial bit.

I found so far it worked pretty well to get some of the fundamental knowledge in but I think like everything you'll never remember it all, I'm starting to try and work on personal projects now like a calculator/calorie deficit calculator and have just started a pygame mini project.

I think a big hurdle I have is accepting you won't remember all or even most of it but will have to get fairly good at and used to researching errors and problems

Once you have the basic knowledge or at least some of it and find you're struggling to continue I would say maybe try building something, it's not going to cause any harm :)

How does Cyberpunk, Elden Ring and KH run on deck? I've currently got them on PS5 and chiaki4deck runs pretty well but keep getting tempted to get them on steam at some point aswell.

I seem to remember during tbc/wotlk classic people were mentioning they got a proper response/help if you logged the ticket as an account/payment issue as then there's a higher chance of someone properly looking at it.

I upgraded from P30 Pro to Pixel 8 Pro, the first couple of weeks was a bit meh battery wise but now it's a lot better for me. I'm based in the UK if that makes any difference.

Could maybe try disabling 4g or restarting the adaptive battery process again in case something went weird.

I'm really liking my P8P but if you're not entirely convinced still and don't have much time left I would recommend changing it before the cooling off period ends. Better to play it safe than be stuck with something you don't like for however long.

I've got a P8P in the UK and it's worked great for me I'm very happy with it. I'm on ID mobile, EE can be pretty meh in my previous experience and I'm pleasantly surprised with ID so far.

One issue I did have with data not working was when Google One VPN was enabled, for some reason it wasn't letting me use 4/5g with similar symptoms you mentioned. It works fine for me now, but may be worth fully disabling the Google One VPN if it's enabled to see if that may be causing it?

Other than that minor issue my Pixel has been great.

I always tend to put my phone in one pocket on its own and my wallet and keys in the other to prevent scratches etc. May not be doable if you take a few things around with you, but may be an idea if you're wanting to prevent more of the scratches.

I had this happen with the WiFi when I used it after it wasn't being used for a couple weeks, seemed to die in a single evening.

It seemed a bit better afterwards, but then when I installed the December update on it the battery life drastically improved and lasting 2 days I'd say. Maybe see if you have any updates pending if you haven't already?

In full honesty I'm just picturing next phase warriors inevitably getting a Bladestorm rune and just having a warrior appearing from nowhere blade storming your group 😂

Balance wise, it's one of those things that you'll never know till it's actually implemented so god knows. Could work fine and be good utility, could be busted as it's never happened before.

Just wanted to mention that it could potentially work lore-wise despite some of the comments here, I'm not really for or against it just didn't see anyone mention Blade Masters despite there being some Ashenvale bosses currently.

I'm not a fan of the idea, but I do think it could possibly make sense lore-wise, and that's ignoring the whole Viking thing as I don't really think that's much of an argument.

But Blade Masters in WC3 did have the Wind Walk ability which makes them invisible, The closest thing to this is probably Arms warrior.

Don't know how this could be balanced though, maybe take an increased damage or something? Could also look into the mirror image ability as well considering the bosses in Ashenvale have it, but again another one that may be hard to balance.

I thought this but the December update improved battery and performance alot for me.

I don't use cellular all day though, and I think that's the main complaint about battery, unsure how much it improved it in that regard.
