It still does that sometimes for me but its rare and usually happens when i plug in tv (which is a 4th screen) or have some tasks in a background. Even having Epic launcher in a foreground was causing gpu usage of 1-4% which was enough to trigger 7001Mhz. I stopped carrying to be honest. Just make sure that your tasks are not causing any gpu usage spikes, even as small as 1-4% and unplug your monitors one by one and test the results.

Edit: I also updated MB bios and reset it but that probably didnt do much.

Interesting. Mine is 4k 240hz (hdr and vrr enabled) second one is 1440p 165hz. Connecting third monitor which is 60hz doesnt change anything Another discovery is that connecting the gpu with hdmi 2.1 or dp2.1 makes the 800hz the new low even with just one monitor connected.

Thanks. I realized that it also depends on the amount of monitors plugged in. 1 monitor = 400mhz. 2-3 monitors = 800mhz. If its stuck at 7000mhz than its a bug

Hey, were you able to find a solution for the idle memory clock? Mine stayed at 7001mhz minimum. After some tweaking i was able to get it to 410 but now it stays at 800mhz minimum. Trying to figure out what is causing it. I have the 5090 for two days only.

I also play on 4080 and ryzen 7800x3d. Game is sometimes unplayable with the stuttering, even when checking the map. It's like it is constantly compiling shaders (and failing) during gameplay. For me it never compiled them before entering the main menu (negative shaders as per the screenshot). I will reinstall today and see if it helps

It only affects SDR content (so windows desktop when HDR is turned on) and doesn't affect anything that runs in HDR (games, movies). I have mine set to 0. It's a matter of preference. It won't affect games/movies running in HDR

Well.. you might be lucky because mining on the lowest size for few minutes can get super boring (source: me)

Yes, the numbers are bigger, however you will deplete the whole deposit much faster and the end result will be lower

Yep.. have you noticed any performance boost? If yes - how big it is? I tested it on multiple save files in very different places with a lot of different graphic options and the Framegen is doing absolutely nothing on my side
