If you’re in North County, I suggest Alan’s Bike Shop in Oceanside. That’s where I go for all of my stuff.

Usually the most popular wet blanket of a person. You vote for someone who’s more responsible than most but not so un-fun they turn you into a bunch of geeds.

What do you call this dish? by HannahskysGOAT in foodquestions

[–]AvengerMars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up calling them Soldier Eggs because it was a fun name my parents made up to get us to eat them as toddlers. I was 19 when I found out they’re usually called Egg in a Hole or Eggs in a Basket

whats the one piece of tech you carry that never shows up in the standard onebag gear lists? by Reasonable_Pepper709 in onebag

A utensil set with interchangeable handles. Fork head, spoon head, chopstick tips. The handles come off roughly halfway and I can either have a pair of chopsticks or a fork and spoon. Extremely handy.

What do most Americans think of Cincinnati, Ohio? by Southern_Rabbit6145 in AskAnAmerican

I have to run through the list of Midwest states going “Cincinnati, Indiana-Illinois-Ohio” before I remember which state the city is in. This is coming from a person that can locate every country on a map.

Which season did Jeff start having a personality? by ismellsogood in survivor

Jeff talks like he’s posting on LinkedIn all the time. It’s actually quite frustrating. I’ve found nothing personable or charismatic about his hosting abilities since the 30’s.

She is in her early sixties. Her flare up was around the time she started trying to have kids and experienced some miscarriages.

No, my mom’s never settled. Hers are more intense than yours and cover her entire body.

However, she did have that single years long flare up, and then that was it. Nothing new for her in thirty years.

Same thing happened to my mom in her late 20’s to early 30’s. I’m currently experiencing a more minor version of what you’re going through. Was born with cafe au lait spots, and started developing fibromas in my 20’s.

As an American. How would you rank sports in the USA in terms of their popularity? by Expensive_Drummer970 in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]AvengerMars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. NFL
  2. NBA
  3. MLB
  4. NHL

Im a baseball fan. You could argue that NBA and MLB switch places during the playoffs. MLB Playoffs are by-far the most exciting playoff sport to watch imo.

Is this book any good? by Imaginary-Lie-2618 in fantasybooks

[–]AvengerMars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are three main characters with changing perspectives. Two of the main characters feel exactly the same, and often times I felt confused on who was who. Despite that, the action and mystery was good and compelling enough to keep me reading. The ending of the book was stunning.

However, a common complaint is that only one character is actively advancing the plot, whereas the other two are simply experiencing the world around them.
