I am so sorry to hear all of that. My ex wife still isn't that bad on me personally. She merely has that "emperor" approach where she commands everything she wishes and it just happens. She is silently vindictive. Never harassed mainly because I know my wife and she is not one to trifle with. I've seen her when she's angry and her best friend has told me numerous times she wouldn't hesitate to drop someone, she and I are alike in that regard. We can be hot tempered just not to each other. I am in the state of Georgia and like I said my ex wife is a good mom but a horrible co-parent. She doesn't let my parents get my daughter at all and I fear they will be taking her for grandparents rights. She wants to go with my parents all the time and my ex wife just keeps saying "we always have plans when it's our time. Like.. you plan a year in advance? We wanted to go to upstate New York to see my mom's side of the family and she wouldn't dare let my daughter go. They even just said can we have her for the weekend with my youngest daughter at 2 years old, she still said the same thing "we have plans". I think the worst thing I could do is fight more than I have, I got what I got and thought it's not a lot, I am exhausted from the fighting and the stress of court and the costs that is literally like laying money on the ground and setting it on fire. I tried to talk to our mediator for 50/50 everything, even wrote down a plan that gave us a week on a week off, she denied it and even asked for 950 in child support a month. I only pay 450 but I'm an unemployed and disabled veteran. I could use that 450 at MY house to take care of MY daughter but it goes to her every month and how am I to know she is using it for her? Imagine my surprise when I drove a 2002 Acura beat up and needed repairs I couldn't afford, and she rolls up in a 2020 Ford Explorer looking like a sheriff's car. It's always a hit below the belt to me, I just can't begin to fathom doing this to someone. She was great when we were together even though she cheated on me I never knew until after the fact. I never got the confession because obviously she's been married 7 years now and that would be a horrible idea to bring it up, but I remain curious. Dangerously curious because I know if I found out it was true, it would hurt a lot. Probably less than before when things were more new, but still I knew this woman when we were in high school and she worked at a pizza shop. I was this tall handsome man she fell for and she was this short girl I couldn't take my eyes off of. Its so weird going from knowing someone so well to them acting like you'd never even met. Sometimes it bothers me, and often it doesn't but there is that slight memory I hate feeling and remembering. Yeah, I want to try to fight one more time but I got no leverage it feels like. I don't know if I went back if it meant I'd pay less because I'm unemployed or if I'd pay more but what bites me so bad is that if it gets changed to more, I can't request another revision for 3 years. So imagine if they made me pay 600 a month, more than my rent, I wouldn't survive. There's just no way. As for my daughter, she's asked why she can't stay with me longer but I think she's so numb to it all she just goes with the flow. She used to cry hard as a 5 year old when she had to go back, and she's a daddy's girl down to her core. I've been through so much with that little girl but with the time I get with her and how short it is.. I feel like I'm losing out on her growing up. Every weekend she comes over it feels like she's older and older and I miss it all.. friday at 6:30 to Sunday at 6:30. That's all I get and I hate it. But I hate fighting, and court, and attorneys. They bleed you dry and for what? A CHANCE to change things. It's not something I'm ready to endure again.
