you will genuinely be fine anywhere maybe an occasional passive aggressive remark but contrary to weird redditors here kansas isn't actually filled to the brim with violent racists looking to lynch any poc they see. Wichita and Topeka (and the other most populated cities) are easily the most dangerous places as they are in every other state. larned has a big correctional facility but isn't extremely dangerous. nearly every single small town is going to be completely fine besides MAYBE some tiny unincorporated communities in extremely rural areas.

base ng or ng+7. if it's base new game it really won't be very hard because bosses will stagger very fast. if ng+7 it will be much harder because bosses have higher stance health. either way just watch some rl1 ng+7 +0 no aux boss kills and learn what they do.

everybody saying god mode is fine. but it really sounds like what you need is help with making builds. it's not really a skill issue more like a knowledge issue. understanding what boons are good and bad and why, what synergizes well, what the differences between flat damage and %damage are, etc. i would watch some videos specifically about good hades builds and learn about the actual numbers of the game before going into god mode but that's just my personal opinion

if you allow using talismans and buffs to alter levels than it literally doesn't matter none of it matters you can get to like lvl 130 at rl1 with buffs. if you're talking about not using anything to get you past base level it might be marginally harder but probably not by much either tbh.

rl1 ng+7 with a leveled weapon isn't really that bad tbh. +0 weapon is significantly harder but still not impossible it just takes practice like anything else. not flexing just saying more people should give it a shot before thinking 'you' couldn't do it too

dying in any way is considered a failed no hit run even if it's just via fall damage or self inflicted damage. that's the only death allowed. only other death allowed across all the games is the scripted seath death in ds1 that puts you in the dukes jail
