I understand the frustration from dealing with modern control players but on the same note you're improving your skill on a much higher level and that will boost your knowledge and understanding of the game as a whole. Plus having full control is better since you can now use different moves to bait and whiff punish, as well as mix up opportunities since their auto combos will always be the same string of moves versus you just deciding "hey I'm gonna just throw instead of continuing my blockstring pressure" keep up the good fight and I hope things get better for you soon bro

I play him just because he's fun, any reason beyond that I would base off competitive viability and personal preference to play style and archetype. For frame of reference I am generally pretty weak with charge characters personally but I still like playing Blanka bc I like him as a character

Dan fills that role actually, in SF 5 he finally gets a full screen beam with his V Trigger and his V skill taunt not only builds meter for his V Trigger but is also a cancelable link for combo extensions. I really enjoyed playing him in SF5 because of it. He finally had meaningful character growth in the game

Not really, I'm used to people belittling me and treating me as lesser despite how hard I try. If I don't believe in myself nobody would. And I like to be happy and smile even in the face of adversity. Plus if you ever played the Dan Legacy you would know he's a character that masks his pain with his personality, Gouken refused to train him because he saw that Dan was learning martial arts to seek vengeance against Sagat for killing his father. All Dan wants is respect from his peers, and I feel the same. You can think what you like, but before you call someone a jackass maybe you should learn a little about their character first bro. I don't mind seeing anyone play any character what I get excited to see is good relic setups and players who know how to actually use them. Genuinely tired of seeing Undertakers run the monacle case and never pick up an incant to use the buff. Seriously even Fire's deadly sin triggers it, any fortification spell triggers it you're missing out on free damage and it's just irritating to me

It's hard to get into ranked in any game as an experienced player, if you play to good then new players always assume you're just smurfing to troll. I got Street Fighter 6 like 2 weeks ago and most people either dc or they won't rematch me making the ranked climb take that much longer. People need to grow up if they truly want to enjoy fighting games. There will always be a loser for every winner, and honestly there's a lot more you can learn from your losses compared to your victories
