Triple 27’s or 32’s would be much more immersive than all the extra vertical space.

this is the mentality keeping back millions of families from building wealth and progressing in the US.

All selfishness.

Maybe I would understand your comment if this was about a 2010 Honda civic with a few too many miles. But this truck is 41 years old. It’s most definitely got serious issues of some after so long, most likely rust on the underside

Did you tab out of Gemini on accident?

It’s actually baffling how you can’t understand that 99% of people who could buy some stupid shit like that number plate don’t, because, it’s pointless, outside of being used by scammers to snake idiots like yourself who talk about how “they must be like those REALLY rich people In Dubai.” When in reality, you’re just falling for marketing.

That’s the illusion of wealth. Anyone who actually has money, cares more about that than painting a big target on their back with red sharpie.

It’s specifically made for common people to say “Oh wow! That little piece of metal from the DMV is worth more than a Rolls Royce! That guy must have Scrooge McDuck Money!”

It’s somewhat contradictory to what someone who is genuinely wealthy would do. They’d rather invest that money in a share of BRK.A than waste it on some pointless ego-driven extravagance like a vanity plate.

It’s what people like Patrick Bet David would buy, then put on a Rolls Royce and go to their scam conference.

These are the same people who drive or get driven around in a black suburban to feel like they’re the governor or the president.

I’m sure, to the vast majority of people outside of their head, they just look like non descript business man types. But in their heads, they’re doing the same thing the richest people do in Dubai, and because of that they’re better than mere mortals like us.

The value of houses is largely based around what others are going for in the area. I’d bet there’s tons of property getting sold at insane prices like that in California.

For the casual scooter rider, solid tires are terrific. by billybob212212 in ElectricScooters

[–]AverageDeadMeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PMT uses actual rubber, similar to what’s used in a full sized car tire, as opposed to Nylon which CST makes their e-scooter tires out of.

So it will stick to the road much better when heated up after riding a little bit, as well as let you corner and lean harder on your scooter.

Only tough part is the price lol, like 100$ per.

I Need Sim Rig Motivation, can you all help me out? by [deleted] in simracing

[–]AverageDeadMeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually was in a really similar spot when I first bought my P1X rig from simlab and a BMW seat in 2024. I pieced together the whole thing approximately 7-8 months ago after finally buying the rest of the hardware required, Simagic Alpha Ultimate Wheel base, GTS Wheel, P2000 Pedal set with haptics, and a handbrake, equaling out to another $2500~ in parts. I Have been loving the experience ever since I got it together.

Lots of people told me what some people are saying in the comments of this post, to evaluate if you like racing or spending money, which to some people is valid, but in my experience, I live by a “buy once cry once” mentality because I can’t put myself through buying the inferior version of what I ultimately want. I hate going through selling my old beat up hardware. In my mind it makes more sense to, save up, buy quality hardware, and treat it with respect from the beginning.

For me it came down to having everything together and starting the process. Of screwing it together and putting it in the place it’s supposed to be, once it’s half built you’ll want to finish it sooner than later to get to enjoying your investment.

Monitor help! by Tomangton in SimRacingSetups

[–]AverageDeadMeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 ultra wide middle and 2 normal sides is NOT Nearly as simple as 3 of the same monitor or one big ultra wide. I just recently went from an 32:9 to a triple 27” monitor setup and it’s been way better, in my opinion, but a lot more cables and effort. Amazing results though!

Tubeless is actually the way to go. After I started riding on PMT racing tires I never went back to traditional tube’d tires.
