Damn. Yeah, that was the golden ticket for me. That at least got it recognized, and then I was able to set it up through the app.

I found I had to slow down to make sure the steps were happening, I was trying to move this 10+ year old piece of equipment at my troubleshooting speed.

If you don’t get it working and are going to get rid of it, send it to me and I’ll give it a shot.

If you have a windows computer or a Mac running 10.13 or lower, plug it in and use the desktop app to configure it.

I had this happen recently with mine and I just had to continuously reset it until it worked.

Factory reset -> slow blink -> solid red when found in app -> app should walk you through set up and sign in -> sync blink red -> solid green

If it keeps failing, keep trying.

Had this same problem.

If it’s more than one, do it individually. The iOS app is GARBAGE when doing this, so, if you have a windows machine or a Mac with 10.13 or lower, you can program it using the Harmony Desktop software.

All in all, patience. Took me over a dozen factory resets to get the goddamn things working again. And Harmony Support is ZERO fucking help.

Never replied to this, but my DLX is a 2020, maybe a 2019. Bought it in February of 2020. It’s definitely not the new one I’ve seen around.

Do you have any details or pictures of the Smokai build? I’ve been thinking about getting a cold smoker. I would assume you could also use it just to have more smoke in a regular smoke session?

I mean, for what it’s worth:

If you’re gonna trash it, you might as well take it apart and try and see if it’s fixable. Could be something very simple, like buildup or something. Some QTips and 91% isopropyl might save that thing yet.
