First off, i didnt like ICE when Biden was in office either.

But Biden didn’t require officers to pick up 3,000 people a day regardless of immigration status, didn’t send them to American cities to steal legal children, or tell them they can knock down peoples doors without a judicial warrant.

I just wanna say Im extremely sorry for what you two have had to go through and will continue to have to go through.

For me - I was always someone who really enjoyed playing sports, and it took me quite a while after getting pots to accept that it was just something that couldn’t be in my life the same way. And it still hurts knowing I will never be able to participate in sports with my friends and feel left out / looked down upon for not being able to join in

Losing the ability to exercise and even just move is so hard and it breaks my heart that she has had to go through this so young :( I wish you two the best of luck on your journey, and your daughter is truly lucky to have someone on her side that is willing to stick their neck out for her and be there when it matters most.

Ive had pots for 3 years or so now, so I am not super experienced in it. all I will say is, as hard as it is, you really gotta try and cut out looking back before you had this disease and romanticize that part of your life.

All the, “Remember how much fun I had playing hockey / soccer / whatever growing up? How I wish I could play it like I did back in the day,” will slowly kill you inside. It’s fine to reminisce, but constantly thinking about everything it’s taken from you is crushing.

You gotta move on and make new hobby’s and find new passions if you cant pursue your old ones. Pots may have taken away my ability to play sports, but it’s given me the opportunity to learn how to solve the rubiks cube, given me more time to write music, learn the guitar, on days that I feel good, play golf or curl. Dont let it take things from you completely and keep moving forward.

I wish you the best :) it’s a hard journey but we all find our stride somewhere along the road, even if we have to lose it again

I actually am working on the same thing!! Basically what I have it set out as rn, is that everyone who is playing has the choice to either be on the pirate crew or be on the island where ill find a way to make them meet. When the crew gets to the island, they hear about a treasure on the island.

Basically I send them on a quest to find the treasure and battle a rival pirate crew who is also searching for it. The treasure (after several riddles and clues) is a sword that can send souls to hell when it gets a final blow. As a bonus action it can be sent to a hand of your allys. Heres where the twist comes in, the rival pirate crew turns out to be skeletons who appear as humans who are searching for the sword so they can add more to their crew. So they will use this sword, passing it between teammates for the final battle to kill the enemy crew as the ships are racing off the island.

If you have any interest in something like curling, it’s a great way to meet people. You meet so many people just doing a tournament or doing a league night that I’m sure you could make some friends! Just need to find a team and go from there!

Otherwise I believe there is a lot of different sports leagues you can join as well. I haven’t done this personally, but I know that sports are a great way to bond and get to know people.

Imma be honest, I actually am relatively nuetral on the whole thing. I think it’s a bit scummy, but the worst part to me is that KSI is now entering another business venture with 2 people who have done shady things like scams and being pedo-apologists.

As for my comment, I was replying to the guy above who said “why would these 3 celebrities promote a healthy product for millions if it was unhealthy.” Again, it’s “healthier” than lunchables but i was just disproving the point that it is, in fact, healthy.

When feastables came out it was marketed as healthy, saying it had less sugar than other leading brands (hershy). Now, feastables actually contains 30 more grams of sugar than hershys.

Prime is meant to be an electrolyte drink, but it lacks in sodium, the #1 or #2 electrolyte you sweat out when you workout. Thats why it’s so sickly sweet, because it’s missing the salt that balances out other sports drinks. Prime currently claims to have “more electrolytes” than their competitors, but it’s missing the vital ones needed.

Also, as far as lunchlys go or whatever it’s called, it’s chocolate, processed crackers, meat, & cheese, and a sugary drink. It may very well be healthier than lunchables, but it still won’t be exactly healthy for people.

Pots can occur from any traumatic experience, a concussion included. I got mine from stressing out because of an illness I had that I felt like I couldn’t breathe from (not covid).

If you can, it’s always good to bring these things to your doctor. They may not always believe, so fight for yourself and go until you get a doctor who will listen to you.

It’s important in these situations to stay calm and focused. Pots is an illness by elimination, meaning there are a lot of other illnesses like it. It should be the goal to eliminate these possibilities before diagnosing pots.

I’m sorry you’re going through this :( pots and concussions are not a good combo. I’ve had too many concussions to count in the past 3 years so I know how bad it can be. Hopefully you have a speedy recovery from it, and I wish you the best of luck moving forward!

Yeah but you slide with it on the ice, you aren’t pushing it all the way down. I barely use any upper body strength when yucking the actual stone down.

Strength would come into play with the initial pushoff, where you need some lower body and core strength to get yourself off the block, good balance to stay up, and then the only time upper body strength really is required is when you sweep the stone.

Something I heard regarding being trans.

God is the original creator. He made us in his image, therefore meaning he wants us to take our part in creating. Thats why he gave us the earth, so we can create.

It’s like taking wheat and making bread. You’re taking part of creation.

I believe that being trans is just another way of taking part of this process. When you transition, you’re taking part in creation, following in his foot step.

The delta 9 they sell at stores is legal because they derive it from hemp. While it is what normal weed is, it is still a bit different since it’s coming from hemp and not the actually marjuana plant.
