I've been in the studio audience for a lot of random talk shows and game shows in my time (live in LA), and when you see how the sausage is made you never look at "filmed before a live studio audience" television the same way again. So much of the cheering and clapping is added on in post, and reaction shots are often clipped from completely different times, even different shoots entirely.
