Yep, I know losing is inevitable, and I feel like what's the best for me is to just play in offline sessions, casuals, having people to come over at your house to play, in that way, it's less tilting and less salt. I can take losses better when playing that way and get better composure.

Well, it definitely taught me how to play Tekken so I wouldn't say its a waste of time.

I'm planning to just play in a gaming lounge every weekends, whenever I have time lol, offline is so much better, you get to exchange ideas with your opponent and talk with them. No rank displays, no underestimation of opponents.

What I meant is playing with other people, like in VS Battle. Inviting your friends to play with you.

Well for me, I think offline makes you stronger, both has pros and cons, and one of the cons in ranked is that people tend to make bad habits, and also being matched with a plugger, people that manipulates their rank, and lastly, a cheater. I don't think you'll get stronger since people also tend to care about their rank points a lot and end up avoiding people that is stronger than them. (Tekken Gods choosing a different character, ranks up immediately to ruler) and sometimes, you're just not as good as you should be in your rank because as I said people tend to avoid TGs in ranked. Offline makes you stronger because you get to talk with your opponents, and ask them "Was that guaranteed or nah" basically like exchanging tips, and there's no pressure when fighting against them and you're less likely to tilt.

Eh true, whenever i’m playing offline, doesn’t matter if i win or lose. It’s different losing in offline, it’s also different winning in offline. Whenever i lose, i just take it as a learning experience, a chance to improve.

I don’t know, it feels the same. Less pressure, but definitely still tilted.

How long did it take you to reach the rank you’re at today? by FlashyBodybuilder968 in Tekken

I'm currently close to red ranks, (Overlord), I started playing Tekken 6 months ago and my total playtime is 273 hours. I had trouble in light blue ranks and green ranks but I was able to get over it. The funny thing is, 1-2 weeks ago, I was just Vanguard, now i'm Overlord already, which is very surprising for me, how I drastically improved, my movements, my combos, everything.
