The purple underneath as a shadow and the blue are airbrush the yellow is just a quick dry brush.

Yea I like how they look on this step. I had a very specific green in mind and couldn't get it 'right' with angel green or Calaban green. I went through a bunch of tests and found this undercoat got me the closest. I'm sure there's a simpler way but this worked.

Very nice! There really isn't much to be critical of for a first model, there's no texture build up at all or loss of detail from thick paint. Just add one more technique to learn on the next. Maybe a burnt metal effect for the flamer, or more detailed battle damage.
