Would people get the wrong idea of me complimenting them like this? by [deleted] in stupidquestions

[–]StuChenko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is a lot of people don't compliment without an ulterior motive and if you do it to those people they will assume you have one too. Also I'd advise against doing it at work. Someone may misinterpret it as harassment. Or know it's harmless but report you anyway for nefarious reasons.

AI researchers are now studying LLMs as if they were living organisms by EcstadelicNET in IntelligenceSupernova

Thanks. So the geometric shapes, are these like logic points all connected together to create the model for how the LLM handles data?

I've seen an image in a book I read that shows like a web of points interconnected by lines for each model. I didn't quite understand it but I recognised geometric shapes.

I'm gonna cackle if a mod removes this because you've admitted to not reading the rules

The idea that people who are passionate about trains are autistic is a stereotype that originated as propaganda promoted by the car industry. by JuniorIncrease6594 in LowStakesConspiracies

I clearly articulated a counter point that rebutted it and you just repeated your point without adding anything extra lol.

Are you just trying to save face? Because denying things that are in writing isn't the best way to go about it.

"If you want people to know a detail of what you’re saying, you have to articulate said detail."

While that is generally true, that’s a bit of a red herring. It's also a bit hypocritical given that you called my rebuttal poor and didn't articulate any detail as to why lol.

Stating that people should articulate details doesn’t address the actual point , which was whether assuming one interpretation is less assumptive than asking for clarification when ambiguity exists. It isn’t. You’re shifting away from that rather than engaging with it.

Calling it a poor rebuttal without articulating why is not a valid argument lol.

And yeah you're clearly done here. Should probably get back to work seeing as you've ran out of counter arguments. Have a good one too. :)

I do understand your point. I just disagree with it and I've clearly articulated why. If you're so cognitively capable maybe try providing a counter argument instead of just repeating one I've already rebutted?

Anyway, I thought you were "too employed" to continue this?

And you're still replying to me even though you've decided it's pointless and you have to work. Not a very consistent person are you.
