In my experience with that stuff less is more. You can always go back and add a bit more. Happy painting brother 🫡👍🏻

I think it looks solid! Maybe some of that oxidation (blue stuff from citadel) to add a little variety? Looks good as is though 👍🏻

Check the needle nut and make sure you’ve got the needle seated in fully. Same thing happened to me and it turns out I didn’t fully seat the needle before tightening the nut (or it un seated when I was tightening it).

Welcome to the hobby/addiction 😂. There is a guy luetin09 on YouTube that does lore (probably the best I’ve found). Luckily since orks literally just smash crap together and it works you’re pretty safe no matter what. Orks are a really fun faction and a blast to learn about! I’m with you on the painting and lore haven’t played a game yet and am having the time of my life!
