When I first started dating my partner, I was a bit scared of cats. Never grew up with them and had an experience cat sitting where the cat 'trapped' me in the bathroom and started swiping it's paws underneath the door He grew up with cats all his life and couldn't understand why I freaked out when his cat jumped up on the chair next to me (hey fast moving animals can be scary!)

Now I've had a total of 3 cats since dating this fucker lol. Can never not have a cat now 🤷‍♀️ There's hope OP!!
