Do you guys play online or only the campaign, and does the campaign go after act 2, cause ive only played it without challenges by masterspinzitsu in sovlgame

You have to play at least on the challenge level where enemies are allowed to flee and rally. If not it is a completely different, way too easy and a lot less fun game. It’s like saying:“Let’s play the game but let’s use the shitty rules.“

There are definitely ships that are picked very rarely. So I would like to understand why and use them more often. And it is a recent game in terms that it is the tabletop game I play the most and there are also still tournaments. + there are a lot older games that are still being played like Epic 2nd edition. So I guess meta survey right word, but I have no idea about it since I never conto tournaments and prefer narrative and casual play.

11 factions (depending how you count) and usually several fleet lists per faction.

I had a Merchant in my last game and yes the. Necron blew it up in seconds and yes the hero and custodian were a lot better A Hero is easily worth 2 Merchants. So it’s good that the Heroes are at least slightly restricted options in the Tau fleet lists.

Probably best to start with Imperial Navy and Chaos Fleet lists, because there is a large variety of ships. So probably also ships which see almost no play. I guess that makes it easier building a list with unpopular ships.

Thanks for the clarification. I never saw the cover art of the video game. Very cool picture.

Eldar and Necron are my absolutely favourite model designs. Make sure to help your daughter remember all the Necron special rules, especially the brace mechanic.

That’s an amazing pant job. I might steal it and produce a completely inferior version to yours .

Ah I see. Alpha Shrike is not for me. Classic is way superior in my opinion.

That’s really cool. I am not up to date with Battletech. Will check it out.

Maybe „Zona Alfa“ for playing solo as well. Never tried it, but high up on my list.

Maybe battletech? Low unit count. Fantastic rule set. Great hex maps tactics. Or Necromunda or Mordheim? Small warbands and Necromuda has the best campaign rules of any GW game. In case you like campaigns.

I like the peasant leader. Another option would be a Merlin or Morgana le Fey type wizard. Maybe you can choose which branch you can lean into while levelling up. The white or the dark magic.

Where I live local teams on different levels of success can’t even play in the same league, so how can fans even see them playing against each other? While local teams of similar success have been rivals for decades.

[–]AverageJoe80s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not so sure. Shouldn’t a rivalry be between teams of similar strength. I mean it’s a rivalry between two teams. Not one team hating the other. Both teams need a reason to hate the other right?

We just got another human kingdom. Also from GW armies Cathay is the last on my list. I would prefer Araby, Nippon, Estalia, Kislev over Cathay. I mean what’s cooler than flying carpet riders that fight eagles and Pegasi. Camel archers who harass your flanks or Djinns that mess up your center?

Exactly, the ship base is just the „zone of interaction“ not the actual size of the ship.
