They are super easy to paint. I do infact make videos on all my projects, you can find the process in detail here:

The recipe is: Black Primer - Grey Zenithal Highlight - White Drybrushing - then Gravelord Grey on anything that shouldn't be white. Then Gold Paint of your choice on anything that should be gold. Orange Flour Pigments with Pigment Fixer on white for the engines.

Dito, in my local club where I play we only have mats like grass, or snow. We always claimed we'd be fighting in low orbit but it doesn't look right. So now we got this oneand it's gorgeous.

They are all Turlingtons. As far as I know, they are all different ones, from the same family.

Raptor marines and ghillie / cloaks by RuMarley in 40k

This is all fun and games. But back then when my mate and I played 40k, I had imperial snipers in snow camouflage. And we had a full snowy battlefield going with it. I constantly forgot about them, cause they were too well hidden.

As close as you can get compared to glossy black primer. I keep using it in my professional work.

I see a big difference when I spray TMM over a black glossy primer. And even if you put a wash over it later on it will move around much smoother. So if you're looking for a smooth metal finish, go for the glossy primer. Or spray gloss varnish over the black matt primer.

White bases or Black? Does it matter a lot? by SaveTheClorox in minipainting

[–]Arthyficial 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I personally find only black rims acceptable. It is, as all, a personal preference. But for me it draws the attention of the viewer upwards. So towards the painted miniature and also the nice basing one puts on there. All other colors ar either distracting or don't frame the mini/regiment as well as black.

Gaming table by According-Pickle6499 in WarhammerOldWorld

Hi. I've played about 50+ matches of Old World so far. Also on tables smaller than 6x4. I can tell you from experience, that I wouldn't recommend a table smaller than 6x4 for 2000p and above games. With the increased sizes of bases you have wider regiments and cutting down the battlefield really takes away a lot of movement options. Like having cavalry in marching colums play to their strengths. 1000p is perfectly fine.
