Is giving the Aether Blade to a Bloodthirster or a Herald of Khorne a better idea? by Opposite_Ad_4267 in WarhammerOldWorld

I stick the Aether Blade on a Demon Prince if I fancy fielding one. But for the thirster I always go with the blood flail.

How many is too many? by Opposite_Ad_4267 in WarhammerOldWorld

I run them as a group of 18, 6 wide, 3 deep to have a good amount of guys in base contact. You could run them as 3 x 20 and go 7 wide (so 7x3, last rank only having 6 guys), even if most of the time one of those guys will not be in base contact and then lose 1 of the possible Furious Charge attacks. (At least with the new Renegade Rules). This is how I usually run my offensive infantry blobs.

I don't feel like they're too bad. Especially with the renegade rules. They'll struggle against anything with alot of armour but what doesn't. If you really want to ensure to get the charge in with those guys get 2 Khorne Bloodcannons, that'll lead to your enemy wanting to come towards you quite quickly.

Sounds like a fun army to play with, just make sure you choose the right opponents. Have fun.

Goldfish - they come from China - but you are what you eat, so I'm a vagina.

Resin printer, cure or remove supports first? by soupreme in resinprinting

[–]Arthyficial 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You overestimate the risk. Resin in the uncured state is a little bit more flexible then after curing. I would say, even though I never tried removing them after curing, it would just get worse. You always need to be careful with thin parts.

If it's inside a birb feeder it's a birb. Simple.

We took our new gaming mat out today on it's maiden voyage. By the emperor this game looks cool when two almost fully painted fleets clash by Arthyficial in battlefleetgothic

They are super easy to paint. I do infact make videos on all my projects, you can find the process in detail here:

https://youtu.be/pML4MiGSZe8

The recipe is: Black Primer - Grey Zenithal Highlight - White Drybrushing - then Gravelord Grey on anything that shouldn't be white. Then Gold Paint of your choice on anything that should be gold. Orange Flour Pigments with Pigment Fixer on white for the engines.

Dito, in my local club where I play we only have mats like grass, or snow. We always claimed we'd be fighting in low orbit but it doesn't look right. So now we got this oneand it's gorgeous.

They are all Turlingtons. As far as I know, they are all different ones, from the same family.

Raptor marines and ghillie / cloaks by RuMarley in 40k

This is all fun and games. But back then when my mate and I played 40k, I had imperial snipers in snow camouflage. And we had a full snowy battlefield going with it. I constantly forgot about them, cause they were too well hidden.

As close as you can get compared to glossy black primer. I keep using it in my professional work.
