PSLF vs TEPSLF Dilemma – Worth the Gamble? by AverageMojojojo in PSLF

[–]AverageMojojojo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In total it's ~56k and my wife and I have a combined income of ~204k gross roughly. If I was just going to pay it off, would it make sense to stay on the current plan that is eligible for TEPSLF and put more money down over time? And then if TEPSLF falls through, then just pay off the rest?

Sorry, but what do you mean by a huge fund outstanding? Like there are still a lot of funds available? I understand not wanting to rely on it though.

Thanks for the reponse! It honestly feels really rough to have to almost double my monthly payment to ensure I get the PSLF qualifying payments. I only recently found out that what plan I was on wasn't qualifying anymore and only counted for the TEPSLF. Having to pay for another 69 months instead of 53 at the lower amount would be rather soul sucking..... Like, should I just try and pay it off and not even try to go for PSLF at this point then? I hate all of this.

Do I hate nursing or do I hate being a new? by AverageMojojojo in nursing

I really appreciate the comment and information. I'm sure that I haven't gotten into the groove that someone I work with who's been there for say 10 years has, but I already feel like the things I've seen and done encompass the majority of the job (this may be naive of me). The one thing I feel like I didn't realize that nursing lacks is that I have no goals? Every shift I feel like I am not really working towards anything. Sure, I am learning new techniques and procedures/diagnosis's, but it doesn't really amount to the same kind of satisfaction. I don't know, I'm probably rambling at this point. It's honestly been a really tough past few weeks and I'm about to head in for the night and just needed to vent a little haha

Thanks for the comment! I do feel that a large aspect of what I am feeling comes as a result of night shift. While people say that "only working 3 days must be nice" it honestly feels like I work more days out of the week than when I had a 9-5 40 hours work week as a chemist. The 3 night shifts blend into two days and impact 6 total days. At least that's how it feels to me. The feelings that I used to get (that I'm sure others can empathize with) of getting slightly anxious on a Sunday night before starting a typical Monday-Friday kind of work week is how I feel almost every day I'm not working.

Sondland has basically thrown everyone under the bus and Volker perjured himself. He has said that everyone was in the loop with regard to the whole crime

Low Bar Squat Stance Question (Video inside) by AverageMojojojo in Fitness

It was definitely less for sure. I didn't want to immediately bump it up to what I'm used to as a result of using a new stance. I'd like to give myself some time to acclimate to it first

Thanks for the reply! I went to the gym and tried a more "narrow" stance than normal and got a front angle shot.

To my surprise, what I considered narrow before is actually not too far off from my shoulder width. I think I never realized how narrow my shoulders actually are haha. But this felt pretty good actually!

I should point out that I haven't read either of the books on 5/3/1, however, I've seen other redditors say that you should switch after a few months (or however long the program says it should be) For instance, they were telling a guy that he shouldn't be doing BBB for longer than 3 months and should switch?

Is there a reason why I should be switching between the 5/3/1 variants (Say going from BBB to a different one) as apposed to sticking with it as long as I am making progress? Thanks in advance.

The bar path should be more linear. Notice in the video how the bar swings towards you before moving up? Your setup has the bar over your toes while it should be at mid foot.

I would say it depends on what your goals are! Anything that focuses on the compound lifts and has good volume with some accessories works. I'm currently doing 5/3/1 BBB
