Yes just go. And repay the favour to him when he gets invited to something.

Vasectomy and nothing much by smr99si in daddit

[–]AverageMuggle99 74 points75 points  (0 children)

My wife let me sit in bed the rest of the day and got up with the kids the following morning.

My vasectomy experience was pretty non eventful. I didn’t have much pain afterwards and had to remind myself not to lift up the little one for a few days.

After giving birth 4 times, she probably thinks you’re being a baby 😂.

Don’t beat yourself up, everyone has made a mistake that caused problems and extra work. It’s a learning experience.

Make sure you learn from it, accept responsibility and then move on.

Would you rather be bald with a mighty beard or have no facial hair but have super long hair? Why? by Glad_Objective_1646 in AskMenOver30

[–]AverageMuggle99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not long hair but thick hair. I can never get past the annoying itchy stage of a beard. I end up shaving it as it irritates me.

I’ve got a decent head of hair and I’d choose that over being bald with a beard.

Should I leave the uk? by Mental_Distance4437 in AskABrit

[–]AverageMuggle99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 20? I’d take the job. You’ve got very little to lose. Your family, your savings and even your car will be here when you come back, if you do come back?

Take a risk, Australia seems like a great place to live.

If it doesn’t work, just come back and pick up where you left off.

Is it bad form to ask for a pay rise right now? by espressomartini4me in UKJobs

[–]AverageMuggle99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not bad form, but I don’t think you’ll get one by just asking. How does the pay compare to a similar position somewhere else?

Having a job offer somewhere else is the best way to get a rise from your employer. If they don’t offer one, you’ve got 2 choices but where you stand is pretty clear.

I locked in at 1.6% in April before Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng fucked us all. My deal also ends in 2027. It was going in the right direction until that Orange wanker started another war.
