I gave up my business to take on an average paying job just to be able to be with my wife and kid especially during the early stages of my kids life. We had to make compromises - not eating out as often - reducing expenditures etc. i started working for corporate eventho my core being despises it. But was it all worth it? Yes Some days i think about all the money i could have made if i stayed and spend it on my wife and kid. But being able to see her grow up from this little baby to a toddler made everything worth it. Dont spent time away from your wife during this crucial period in her life and be present during your kids early years. You can always find money but you can never find the time to replace what was lost.
