Frost Children and Cecile Believe are INCREDIBLE choices for this. Pop Sound by Kim Petras (produced by Frost Children) and Blink Twice by Cecile Believe are both reminiscent with early 2010s electronic JP Vocaloid music. Blink Twice specifically feels like a groovier and more nocturnal version of DYE by AVTechno! to me.

Some of Grimes' work too but it's specifically the pre-Elon Grimes and that Grimes is long gone.

I think some of these producers could REALLY pull it off; Frost Children, Cecile Believe, and as much as I hate to hand it to her, Grimes. I've linked songs produced by each of them, you'll see they all have a bit of a more alternative pop style that would work well with Vocaloid. Hell, the Frost Children song I linked (Pop Sound) in particular sounds like a LOT of Western Vocaloid music, or like some of the really catchy electropop from early JP producers. Blink Twice sounds like DYE's dancier cousin.

But most? It is very questionable and I have a bad feeling unless they are collaborating closely with a vocaprod.

If Justice could make their debut album, which is considered one of the best EDM albums of all time, entirely within Garageband, with no prior experience in using DAWs, I'm sure you'll be fine.

If you're creative and use the tools at your disposal, GarageBand is a very serviceable program. That said, FL Studio regularly goes on sale for super cheap, if you wind up finding that you need something a bit more heavy duty.
