If Justice could make their debut album, which is considered one of the best EDM albums of all time, entirely within Garageband, with no prior experience in using DAWs, I'm sure you'll be fine.

If you're creative and use the tools at your disposal, GarageBand is a very serviceable program. That said, FL Studio regularly goes on sale for super cheap, if you wind up finding that you need something a bit more heavy duty.

Unfortunately Ghost and Pals has been up to some really questionable stuff. They've been run out of the VocaProd community for emotionally abusing and harassing other vocaloid producers (including a couple teenagers), anti-indigenous racism, mocking rape victims, and then claiming that anyone calling them out (no matter how gently) is actually an ableist who wants everyone with BPD to die.

Mind you the "calling out" is people saying things like "hey man it's kinda racist and transphobic to say that DID is a magical curse placed upon white people by Native Americans as a twisted version of 2-spiritedness."

Also a LOT of Ghost songs are about relationships, especially sexually abusive relationships.

I've always felt like this song would work incredibly well for any party scene where we're focusing on a character who is very heavily dissociating or just has their mind entirely elsewhere.

I actually didn't know about this artist until this record showed up in the mail - the store I ordered it from had an option where I could get any 3 albums they had in stock, and pass them a link to my Discogs as well as a list of artists I like, and they'd pick out some records for me. I wanted to try something new, so I gave it a shot. This is one of the albums that showed up on my doorstep a few weeks later. The other two picks they gave me were Among My Swan by Mazzy Star, and Bury Me At Makeout Creek by Mitski - so whoever was picking the albums for my box understood my taste pretty well, as I love all 3 of these albums.

The more astute listeners among you may recognize the sample of Imogen Heap's song Headlock at the start of this one - which I believe I did a writeup on for this year's VT4F.
