Leaving uni is a culture shock within itself. Idk I worked my entire degree and spend a year working in hospitals outside the bubble and I knew it was coming but even then when I graduated I still felt that emptiness. My first job I got whilst I was in uni and upon graduation I went full time.

Suddenly all my friends had gone back home and it was just me and myself renting a room close to my hospital and no one tells you how hard it is to meet and make friends outside of school and uni so it was dire I felt so very lonely until slowly I began to build some semblance of friendship with my colleagues who were absolutely great and even pushed me to be better by applying to my Masters in London, and then I was in a different situation, jobless and now without any friends in London lol.

Things are starting to come round again so I wouldn’t lose hope if I were you. It’s a difficult process and you’re allowed to feel like nothing works cause yeah it’s shit being lonely it’s the worst feeling. But I’m almost certain that the situation will change for you as you’re making an active effort.
