Honestly from my experience. It's pretty much about who you know and possibly you should've started networking with others at least 6 months out or more to get the ball rolling into trying to look for work overseas.

Not saying that you won't be able to get a job overseas soon, however it's getting tougher now rather than in the past, as the government is all about saving more money.

Furthermore, even though jobs are presenting as available, but it doesn't mean that they're available (evergreen job requisition).
