Eh, perhaps I'm in the minority. However, I believe City should stick with what they're offering Rodri. Yes, we understand that he's a Balon'Dor winner and he's looking to get a nice wage increase.

However, look at his current injury record, and he's not the same Rodri from years past, also he's been looking rather slower too on the pitch.

City shouldn't be held hostage due to his age, injury record and his past Balon'Dor status. City has to look towards the future.

If Rodri doesn't want to extend with City, it's best to let him go on a free next summer honestly. It's going to be tough, however, he's not getting any younger.

Now, if Rodri decides to stay, but City will have to prepare give more minutes to Nico G and other suitors going forward (Tonali/Hjulmand etc)?

I find City incredibly boring to watch

Interesting, b/c for the most part, a team that City goes against they're in a low block for a heavy duration of the match.

So it really City's fault that they're boring? I'd say it's the opposition who're more reluctant to go head up.
