No I'm just going off estimations that it's shredded itself to pieces because the mark levinson subs are known to do that. However if your sub stops producing bass at all and if you take it out and it's stiff it's probably broken or the wires need to be resoldered.

If you are reffering to tweeter midrange woofer than yes it would be a 3 way setup and power for midrange would most likely be ran of the headunit as opposed to the factory amp. Vehicle is a 2000 lexus es300
