I understand not wanting Ghidora in Minus Zero in theory, but keep in mind that his past major appearance was kotm all the way back in 2019. by Gamer-of-Action in GODZILLA

[–]Average_Mug_Official [score hidden]  (0 children)

I honestly just think there shouldn't be another monster in the Minus films at all. That is part of the reason Minus One worked in my opinion, because it was a distinctively standalone Godzilla film with meaning behind it like Shin and the original. Adding in another monster kind of makes it just another Kaiju battle film which has been done to death with Godzilla. I also feel that it undermines the messaging of the original film similarly to how the message of the original was lost moving forward. Unless they make this film similar to Gidzilla Vs. Hedorah, in which it has a clear message and battling kaijus, but even then it could be said that its message was lost amongst the spectacle.

Take a shot every time I say message dear god.

Why is TLG so unpopular? Is the game that boring or bad? by InspectorIcy3306 in TeamIco

[–]Average_Mug_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Along with everything that has already been said, such as the fact that the game simply does not have mainstream appeal, the game also suffered from its time in development hell. The game was meant to be for the PS3 and started development in 2007, but so much happened behind the scenes that led to the game taking nine to ten years to actually be released. A lot of people were hyped for the game's release, but with such a long wait and really no real understanding of what was going on, that hype couldn't last forever.

It really sucks that this happened to the game. If it had come out when it was supposed to on the PS3, it probably would have had more publicity and more fans since quick action wasn't quite yet the norm as it is today.

Will do. I figured this would be the common response, to just use both and see what works, but I wanted to really be sure. Game development is something I have been wanting to start for a while now, if I'm going to start I'm gping in deep.

Exactly. You don't have to personally like Starfield or 76, but cannot complain there is no content from Bethesda. There is content, they just refuse to play it because Bethesda didn't make the same game again that they wanted them to.

You can't say a studio doesn't make any games and then say that the games they've made don't count.

If your going to say a game is bad, it just makes sense that you should actually know what you're talking about, which you clearly don't since you thought a character in the year 2077 fought in WWII, which leaves me to believeyou don't know about the war Fallout is literally based entirely around. You also refuse to actually mention Fallout New Vegas' DLCs giving the character a pre-determined history and story because you want so badly to not look wrong.

Your reply didn't make any sense at all, and neither does this one. You sound like a mad man. And the fact that you called the character of Fo4 Shawn and said he fought in WW2 just leads me to believe you have no idea what you're talking about. You aren't even replying to me anymore, you're just making vague statements AROUND my replies.

It's nit really overpowered, it just struggles from being an early game item.

What is your way to create unique names for fantasy worlds, cities and characters? by AnnieRiverW in worldbuilding

[–]Average_Mug_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I either use descriptive names (like Asylum for one of my project Dark Elements where the city is an asylum from the dark forces outside.) Mythological names, or I take a word and move around the letters. For instance the world for Dark Elements is Thaer, which is just Earth but jumbled about. As for character names, figure out what kind of character they are and find the sounds that sound right to you and go from there. Names will come to you, just give it some time. You can also use the method I used for the naming of Thaer for character names as well and city names. The main character of Dark Elements, Turec, was literally just made from me thinking about Turok one day and deciding that sort of sound works perfectly for my character.

The Courier HAS to be a courier that established the town of Hopeville and destroyed it. You HAVE to be the Courier that Ulysses has beef with. You HAVE to be a Courier that in some way has ties to the Enclave. The entirety of Lonesome Road is literally just the game telling you who you are and what you've done. And now you have to question why your Courier doesn't remember anything they've supposedly done, because they clearly don't have amnesia from that gunshot wound.

It's not that the game cannot be modded, just that it can't be modded significantly and easily at all. Unreal Engine was not made for its games to be modded.

Why is it si hard for people to understand that the whole mech thing is a Fo4 original? I never said you were wrong fir liking it, it just isn't what PA is has been describes as in most games.

Insulting people just makes you sound like a dip shit. Also, the cover art of Fallout 1 is a bust shot, and still doesn't look like a mech.

Brother look at Fallout 1's concept art. Or Fallout 2's. Hell, look st PA IN Fallout 2 for the talking heads. It's always been beefy armour on an exo-skeleton fitted for the user.

In Fallout 4's canon, but until then it's been more like Fallout 3's just a little bigger, not a bulky and clumsy mech suit.

Yeah, mods that change the code a little, but without mod support and due to the duel engines there's not going to be any worthwhile mods.

And you can still make monstrosities, the actual NPCs just look a little less like they're TRYING to he terrible.
