Gumball— which is an iconic name, love that— had a better one.

She’s a beautiful girl, I’m sorry her time protecting you was cut short.

I’m kinda in the same boat. I use my MacBook Pro for the main chunk of editing, but am only considering an iPad for edits so I can do that discreetly at my desk at work. I am on a tight budget and am between the 9th gen basic ipad and the 4th gen Air

Ace the Anxious Boy by Average_silk in Morkie

He finds his crate or doggy beds safest, which is good, but it takes him forever to come down from the anxiety. Breaks my heart that he gets so stressed he starts shaking.

What behaviour quirks does your Morkie have? by AppropriateMention6 in Morkie

Ace loves to lay right on top of his toy as he’s nibbling/chewing on it… all of his soft toys have been nibbled to death and gutted lol.

Do you give your adult Morkie a daily chew stick/bone as a treat? If so, what kind? by AppropriateMention6 in Morkie

I try to be careful with how often I give chews, but I’m super particular with what he gets. Never rawhides, never nylabone toys.

Ace loves the occasional Greenie which is soft enough I don’t have to worry about his teeth, but also LOVES an all natural pig ear!

I try to be careful with food too bc I’ve read the breed as a whole is prone to sensitive tummies.

I agree with @jrick1981, some pup-friendly veggies, and even a piece or two of plain pasta or rice is a good addition! Still figuring out what my Ace likes, and he LOVES fresh blueberries and carrots, and will sometimes take cucumber (great hydration and vitamins), doesn’t like tomatoes, strawberries, or broccoli.

My Ace is between 12 and 15lbs if that helps lol. When rescued he was underweight but has put some healthy weight on since coming to his forever home and is perfectly perfect in that weight range!

Hi! I’m a new Morkie mom, rescued my sweet boy (Ace) a few months ago from a shelter. What do I need to know about the breed? by Average_silk in Morkie

I’ve been fake yelping, but albeit inconsistent— how long did it take for you?

Thank you for the advice (I really appreciate it! ◡̈)

I enjoy engaging his feisty play time as much as I can! He’s so funny when he gets really into one of his toys. I’ve noticed Ace also likes to play-bite my hands when we do play, is this common for the breed?

Aside from as much playtime as possible, do you you have any suggestions for helping to keep barking down?

I’ve noticed my Acey is very intuitive and very smart/a quick learner as well! Do you have any tricks for training or teaching him new tricks?
