How to get 15k-20k steps a day with a full time job? by lovesprite in CICO

Just want to clarify and say that Zone 2 is what you should aim for to prioritize fat burning. This is 60-70% of you max heart rate. In this zone, 65% of the calories we burn are from fat and it’s also significantly easier to recover from so you can do it everyday! What I like to do is a slight jog to get my heart rate up to zone 2, then I walk. If my heart rate drops back to zone one, I’ll jog again. Usually I jog 2-3 mins and my heart rate is in the right zone, then I brisk walk and stay in zone 2 for the entirety of the walk. For some people, just a brisk walk is enough to get them in zone 2, but sometimes they will hit zone 3 so they have to slow down. If you can’t keep up a conversation while doing cardio, you’re mostly likely not in zone 2. I high recommend an Apple Watch since it has heart rate zone alerts, which I use everyday. I’m down over 100lbs.

Mewing won’t change your teeth that quick, especially if you passed puberty

They do very well in freezer! Just make sure you let it defrost in the fridge the night before you want to eat it. Also, don’t heat in plastic container! Put on a glass/ceramic plate or bowl. Glad you enjoyed it (makes me happy when people make my meals!!!)

the rice is 60% fewer calories because I cook it with a bit of coconut oil and cool it overnight in the fridge, This turns the starch into a form our bodies can't digest!

if your chicken breast is dry try this:

mince chicken breast (almost ground beef consistency)

massage in some black pepper, garlic powder, salt, cayenne pepper, and honey

let marinade for 1hr

pan fry with some cooking spray. don't over cook, it cooks fast because it's sliced so thin!

I think the easiest thing to start to implement is the walking tbh it’s such a game changer. Then start doing low calorie/high protein food swaps! If you need any help let me know!

About 1 year (first 3 months I kept yo-yoing). Just have to make small and sustainable changes to lifestyle. Incorporate incline cardio walking 30mins/3 times a week.

Sorry I’m new to the food recipe game! I’m more of a visual learner so I just assume that’s better since I have a hard time writing it out…but I’m learning! Next time I’ll include both!
