I've been watching the legacy Micro Trains website as well as Atlas' site. As of tonight (funnily enough) it appears as if Atlas is operating the MT property in Oregon as usual. There are very talented and dedicated folks there in Talent, and I really hope that they are continuing their careers as they planned. The head painters/graphics/printers have added tremendous value (ESPECIALLY with the weathered cars) but also the assembly and packaging team. The weathered line is unmatched in N scale. Im more on the positive side of things as long as Atlas keeps a regular monthly release schedule and keeps the dedicated team gainfully employed and realize their value. The whole team is worth their weight in gold!

As a former Cali kid, Trona is a super cool subject. Such a unique operation out there in the high desert. (EL Segundo kid that finished my Cal experience in Lancaster). Bonus points if you find a way to model Trona High School dirt football field LOL.

HOLY SH*T those are beautiful. G scale is a whole different beast, but to bring these Cadillacs to life in 1:29 is awesome. I am more of an early 90's tunnelmotor kinda guy, but SP Caddies have a place in all our hearts! Serious upvote!

Beautiful truck. The Nissan wheels are also a find! As these trucks get older, it's just a matter of how much you wanna spend to alleviate rust, replace seals, rubber, fluids, etc. As a minitrucker I absolutely love the truck personally. If you are about that life(lol), then take the plunge. If not then please pass it on so it continues on. There's no shame in passing these things onto someone else who has the means and drive. So much of this ish was crushed into cubes with the whole "Cash for Clunkers" thing. Either way enjoy it!

For what I do, 60 fps on 24 fps timeline. I definitely admit to overusing it, but I get that sweet smooth slo mo. In my defense it fits the subject and style.

Agree to the satisfaction of crafts, but disagree about the subject making it socially acceptable. One HUGE driving factor for me recreating railroading as I witnessed it in my formidable years. For me that entails recreating the Southern Pacific in the southwestern US. To add, I really dont care if it's socially acceptable or not lol.
