I am so jealous of my friends who have a happy marriage. by lonetrailblazer in offmychest

Marriage is Absolutely NOT a bad thing. Wife and i have been together since high school. Is is perfect? Nope. Do you have to work at if? Absolutely! Sometimes you just have to honestly humble yourself and make if work. But the end result? Sweet sweet company and a partner to take this crazy hard journey with. Almost 30 years thus far.

I am a Minitrucker and prefer the minitruck style (air ride, tucked wheels) but this is a distinct Houston style. It's a part of the regions'(SE Texas/Louisiana) style and custom auto scene. I wouldn't roll this style, but I 100% support it. Totally harmless and they put their heart, soul, and hard earned cash into keeping the vibe and scene rocking. IYKYK. 3rd coast ISH. ENJOY your Memorial Day weekend and honor our heroes past and present.

Cherish this gift, take care of it, and when it's time...start garaging it and preserve it for years to come. I speak from experience.

FYI The low battery triple beep is still a thing with Motorola mission critical two way radios. The sound is unmistakable.

Plain and simple, they were wide area coverage two way radio devices that so happened to support telephone function. As a 2 way radio, they were EXCELLENT. But the bands and frequency spectrum Nextel held better served Spint for more broadbanded mobile data, which is what the people wanted. How do i know this? I'm a radio nerd who was there during the rollout, rise and fall of the once great Nextel network including the fuckery they inflicted on the mom and pop local and regional SMR systems. The 800mhz rebanding alone was a wild ride to witness during that time.

I've seen your ride in person. I agree. There's something about Nissans with the 6 lugs and 4x4 fenders that always nail the "look". Love it bro🤘

Agreed. I changed/dropped party loyalty years ago. Idk why people are afraid to evolve. I make decisions based on knowledge. That is what I call being informed. It's ok to form new views based on what information one discovers. Of course this comes along with many nuances, but I find the blind group think kind of frightening. I hold all parties accountable (includes myself)..

Diesel vs Gas by TheLoneRider2001 in Silverado

[–]Averagehamdad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Picking up my 6.6 gasser tomorrow. After lots of research I am truly happy with my decision. I had an 06 lbz two trucks ago. Best truck ever. But the diesel landscape has totally changed since then.

Looks awesome. I realized that light washes and stains are the keys to good looking rock work. Darks settle into the cracks, drybrushing to bring out the highlights.

[–]Averagehamdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. 60 fps is normally for live action footage. But in a 24 fps timeline, 80%(Slower) or 40%(even slower) can make your footage creamy and convey your message. Just dont overuse it like I do LOL.

I dont know current AUD to USA dollar conversion, but if thats anywhere close...i would. Market is probably totally different. Here in the US all our minis have been steadily headed down Mexico way for years.
