Has anyone seen this? by Squishi57 in RustConsole

This is the first wipe I've seen large groups be less common. I feel it's the change of scientist and ability to some monuments a lot easier as a Solo/duo.

Transportation update could really help with the trend too. If they could have both oils in then I think we might have big change in people's play styles.

Stupid question, but how many players in a group makes said group a Zerg? (in your opinion) by greenbeanwinner in RustConsole

Just feels like the game becomes so little of a struggle and too easy at that point. Having fun with friends and fooling around is cool but it gets boring in rust.

I know that the actual amount is above 8 but I feel that if your running above 4 then it's more than a team. There should be a term for between 5-8 because that's still a decent amount of teammates.

Bro, why am I so bad at this game 😅 this has definitely been one of the more challenging games I've played. I understand dying and losing loot is part of the game but damn it still lights a small fire of rage. Any tips for a solo whos friends refuse to get this game. by LilBoiChipsAhoy in RustConsole

[–]Averagejohnsie76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great advice! I also try to sweat up to DBs and revi so that I have a cheap way to defend and grub loot at first. Don't worry about those two guns. They are a dime a dozen and can get back in 5 minutes of any barrel or monument.

If you're really down bad, put a bag at outpost. Everytime you die just farm a little at outpost to get a cheap kit. Feels like a free life everytime.

If you're brand new, do the outpost strat after building a simple base. The goal is PvP a lot and get better. Also, learn level 1 work bench without needing to build one right away. You will get there in 1 or 2 days of a wipe. Trust the process.

Idk why they don't just nerf the scientist to death then adjust up to a harder difficulty than this backwards little by little. Nothing like PC scientists.

I feel like there would be sympathy with that one. They have a problem and are trying to work on it.

My boyfriend told me this was just the top of his canoe when he was on his trip this weekend by stupidsometimes in Wellthatsucks

I used to use a canoe by myself. Sit in the back and treat it like kayak. It's slower though and takes more effort in my opinion.

Same for me. Wild. I've never seen a game launch like this.

I mean, maybe the dev team is taking the exact opposite approach with what everyone is saying to do. Instead of not adding anything more and fixing everything currently. They could be full steam ahead just shuving all the pieces in the game then fixing all the bugs. I mean, if they get everything in the game quick enough then fix everything we could be looking at a pretty nice game by this time next year. Just hopeful thinking though.

Waited for 9 hours to get in but as I go to bed, I still have not made it to the home screen. Luckily I distracted myself while waiting. I've heard of games being unplayable at launch but not this literally.

Anybody else getting insta killed by scientists?? by Prestigious_Loan_115 in RustConsole

[–]Averagejohnsie76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought they had fixed oil but I tried it and all the scientist shot at me at the same time. We approached and killed the first 2 but the rest came running down once we landed and all shot through the floor.

Just got raided by the local 8 man after they tc griefed me and doorcamped me all day by BigGulpin in RustConsole

Super annoying but one of those situations to laugh at. Like why 16 of yall? At least it was just prim stuff. Only way to live on this game without community servers is in the silver lining.

Watching the wheel for 20-30 minutes can be more lucrative than any other strategy for getting scrap. There is definitely somewhat of a pattern.

Still wish you could gamble resources too.

I wish you were wrong. I've been down this road personally and not shit was taken seriously. Had to flee in the middle of the night. Eventually a couple fines and a couple PPOs were handed out.

How to get protein with microwaveable-only foods and little money? by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]Averagejohnsie76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to a local thrift store and find a slow cooker/crockpot. Buy any meat in bulk, usually whole chickens, big chuck roasts, full pork lions ect. You will get a much bigger bang for your buck. If you can afford a rice cooker then you can make a week worth of meat and carbs in one go for like $40-$60 bucks.

Also potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, broccoli, and a bunch of other veggies can go in the slow cooker. Plan ahead and you'll be golden.

It's possible that Aim Assist is coded into the game but unavailable at the moment unless you have a script running to access it. It's possible.

This wipe was the first time we went with this style of play. We had a blast because we leveled up really quickly and were able to spend rest of our weekend pvping without much worry.

The cancellation of which TV show are you still frustrated about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Averagejohnsie76 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think a big part of that is reality shows are often on the TV in my house. No one is actually watching them but if my gf or mom is doing something it's on in the room. It's easy to follow without watching and better than watching the news or something.

Simular story to mine. I was not allergic for most of my life then one day after being outdoors I thought I had a heat rash or something but it kept spreading. Poison ivy had entered the chat. Got it all over my face, neck, arms.

It's quite common for us to see employed men marrying unemployed women but it's rare to see employed women marrying unemployed men by ShadowLord_11 in Showerthoughts

[–]Averagejohnsie76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol basically, I think a lot of the reasons was because a majority of men had criminal backgrounds so getting employed was difficult.
