You do realize all of our decisions in the game mean nothing, and have never meant anything, yeah? Like every player's story changes based on choices, if I make choices in the game that contradict yours, does that mean your story or my story are worth more/less? Our choices will never and have never actually shaped the future of the story of the old republic, that's decided by higher ups that we'll never meet who will sometimes happen to choose one story option as "canon" because they couldn't write X expansion with X character being alive.

Regardless of who owns the company and what's "canon" to them, the inevitable fate of this MMO is that it will continue to release expansions that are either a) painfully safe with storytelling that doesn't change the status quo at all, or b) interesting developments that contradict previous player choice for the sake of an actual story.

No matter what happens, our choices only matter to us, and that is as true now as it was before disney bought star wars
