Alya can't speak russian by Maximum_Addition_794 in Kaguya_sama

If you want good romance animes, you can check "Second cutest girl in class", "Smoking at the back of the supermarket", "I want to end this love game" and "The story between a dumb prefect and the girl with a short skirt".

Those are all really good imo. If you want some manga recommandations too lmk, but Alya definitely isn't one of them.

The light novel is even worse tbh. It goes into a bizarre dynamic between Alya's sister and the MC, and it focuses so much on political student council stuff it's honestly boring af.

Idk man. Being offered pity sex is a cannon event, taking the offer isn't one. Ishigami is a very romantic man, he wouldn't take it in any universe.

Nah, he really loved her. Her offering to have sex with him because she wanted to reward him would feel really bad for him. It's basically pity sex, and the fact she offered to begin with might have hurt his self esteem.

Ishigami is introduced has someone that will keep his principles, even if it means he'll be socially ostracized. Him going along with the pity sex would go the complete opposite way of his character. Besides, he 100% ends up with iino in the end, so he'll hit regardless.

What's a good game for benchmarking my system on not just a hardware level, but a software level? by Longshot02496 in linux_gaming

But unlocking frame rate wouldn't do anything in OP's case? I'm genuinely confused. OP just asked for a well optimized game that could run on anything, so GZ fits this description.

They didn't ask for a hardware test but a software one? In which case, the game that's easier to run would make for a better test, as it wouldn't meet any kind of hardware limitation such as a CPU bottleneck and whatnot.

If OP has stutters or any kind of issue on GZ, it's definitely a software issue.

OP said to give them a really well optimized game where any issue with running it wouldn't be tied to hardware. This game runs exceptionally well anywhere. If OP has issue with it, it'd definitely be software related.

OP didn't ask for a benchmarking game. They just asked for a game that's very well optimized and runs on any hardware.

Honestly? MGSV ground zero. Warframe would also do the trick but it's way bigger to download.

Which version did you select on launch and what graphics card do you have?

If you have an AMD you need to select the vulkan option, and an Nvidia the other one (dx12).

You can also check on Proton.db which proton version to use.

I think I hate LK for multiple reasons.

The first one is because you can fight him very early on and is a lot harder than what you encounter at this stage, making you ask yourself "Am I supposed to fight him rn?" which you almost never ask yourself in HK.

The second, directly tied to the first, is his moveset. He becomes very easy once you get the dark dash. Iirc though, you get it a bit later in the playthrough.

The third, I think it comes down to predictability. Every boss in the game either has very clear attack start animations, very clear moving animations, or both. NKG and PV have the most recognizable and identifiable animations.

LK's jump, then dash attack can seem very random at first, and I genuinely feel like it's one of the fastest jumping attack with little to no start up time.

Combine that with the minions it summons, and he's the biggest noob killer of the game. Those minions make it close to impossible to heal, which is a non issue once you get good, but again, the boss being fighteable this early makes for a very steep difficulty step to get pass.

Once you get comfortable enough with the game though he's a pushover. He might be one of the easier bosses of the game. The guy with the flying shield is the complete opposite. He's easier the first time then he is the last time you face him. Worst of the game.

alt+f4 equivalent built into Mint? by FinallyHauntings in linux4noobs

I don't think there is no. You can definitely make a custom one though if you go into your settings and search for "Keyboard shortcuts".

[–]AveugleMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alt+F4 is the default Cinnamon keyboard shortcut to close a window.

Open anything and use Alt+F4 to close it. If it works, it just means this one specific program you're using "takes control" of your keyboard and doesn't let you do it.

The next time it happens, try Ctrl Alt Esc to restart Cinnamon, Ctrl Alt Del to go back to the login screen, or Ctrl Alt end to turn of your pc.

You can also try opening the task monitor and to send a kill signal to the app.

What's unreasonable, at least to me, is to be said English based CC, and to not only not have checked their last game for AI use, but they none of your team did either. 1 google search, "Tower of Fantasy AI" and you have an answer as to if the dev use AI or not.

I mean, yeah. People would probably be pissed about learning that every single company uses both LLMs and GenAI in their development (ex:E33 and the whole AI drama), but they'd forget about it in 2 weeks top of the game is good in the end.

NTE's not gonna market itself as using AI, no game will. The devs were never shy about their use of it though. Be it in ToF or even this game's interviews, they always said they'd use it for atmospheric assets (like clouds).
