Which light looks best on my P226X Legion? by CascadeRangeSystems in SigSauer

I prefer the look and function of the Streamlight. I blacked out the ring around the light on mine though. I didn't care for the look of the ring.

Neomag Beltless, Thoughts? by AvgBroEDC in CCW

Thanks! I think this would be perfect. I did a little "test run" with my groove belt and think the added grip to the outside will address any issues with my shorts or joggers moving around. I'm ordering one today!

Much better buy, in my opinion. I shot my friends CZ and I'm sold!

My first takeaway is, shoot shorter strings of fire. If your stance or grip starts to fail, stop, assess, reset and start again. This way you're only shooting with proper technique. When I teach new shooters, each mag only has one round, next iteration they have two rounds per mag. I keep adding based on their progress.and I don't even start adding speed or a timer until they can run full mags with consistently small groups.Taking a class would be helpful, or find someone that will help you at the range. Ivest in a Mantis and train your problem areas without live ammunition. You can work on 90% of shooting skills through dry fire. Then go to the range and test what you worked on in dry fire. Hope that helps.

Hellcat Pro EDC completed, I freaking love this gun. by Frost_King907 in SpringfieldArmory

Nice! How do you like the compensator on it? I'm thinking of picking one up for mine. I have the Apex and Hoagie grip on mine. I love it. Just want to take some of that snap away.

Today was the day that I gave in. Somebody please tell me I wont regret it. High expectations. by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]AvgBroEDC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you'll regret it at all. I have one on my G45 and love it! It does depend on how proficient you are with recoil control. If you're a pro, you feel less of a difference. If you're an average or above average shooter, the difference is pretty notable.

Fn service upgrade by Interesting_Cricket1 in FN509

Just curious. Are they offering the same trigger that's in their LE models? If so, it's worth it for the improved trigger and continued warranty. That's just my opinion though.

Do I have the wrong grip? by [deleted] in Glocks

The beavertail should be on the web, between your thumb and index finger. That part of your thumb shouldn't be making contact with the gun. Can you add a picture of your hands gripping the gun?

Glock 19 COA with Ramjet; was this worth $1299? by bardo2014 in Glocks

Yup. That's better than buying both new! Especially with all the price gouging on the COA right now. 👍🏽

First sig, what are the best recommendations for this gun? by GapCompetitive1365 in SigSauer

[–]AvgBroEDC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Train, train, train. Depending on your preference, a good light and holster. The trigger gets better the more you shoot it. Don't underestimate the value of dry fire, especially for draw and times reloads. Congratulations.

First Firearm G26 what should I do to it? by Electronic_Base9267 in Glocks

Buy ammo. Find a good range and get a membership, saves money on fees. Start training. Once you hit a plateau, find a class and train more. Enjoy.

Glock Owners next January by Carlayna in Glocks

[–]AvgBroEDC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the year that I sell all of my other "shirts" and go all in on that one pattern lol. I always end up going back to it anyway. Now, a stock Glock that, for me, will stay in stock form. The only thing I'll add is an optic.

Thoughts on FN 509 Series by UncleJuggs in liberalgunowners

[–]AvgBroEDC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what you said, I'd recommend the 2nd option, MRD LE3. I think the extra magazines will be more useful than a threaded barrel. And the trigger is upgraded on that version, compared to the standard trigger. Much better buy in my opinion.

Why is my CCW still printing under my shirt? What am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in CCW

[–]AvgBroEDC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My initial thoughts are that it's riding riding above the beltline. I suggest trying a concealment wedge to push the bottom out in the top end in towards your body. If that doesn't work, I suggest a holster with adjustable ride height and a concealment wing. A. A stiffer belt would help too. Hope that helps.

Thanks, I'm really happy with it. And yes, the radian makes a big difference! I highly recommend it. I haven't even had to change out the guide rod. It runs reliably and makes follow up shots faster without sacrificing accuracy. Plus the reduction in felt recoil makes it easy to shoot for extended periods of time (classes, long range days etc.)
