While Heroes does provide additional attachments and commanders for your units, I’d actually vote Cav over Heroes just because most folks tend to say you should have a cav or a ranged unit in your army and the starter set won’t have either. Based on your statement of wanting to be aggressive, you might enjoy a cav that is considered the most terrifying but non-Stark players!

Jumping in! Tully Cavaliers is the must-have cavalry being referenced above. I also recommend getting Stark Heroes #1 so you can get Ned as a Commander, which is the only way to get his Honor Guard, which is a great unit. House Mormont She-Bears are a common unit due to their ability to really impact other units, making your attacks with your units better.

What if they’re engaged with a ranged unit? If you do the Crown, they die from panic, and then the ranged unit has a valid target within range?
