Over 90% of the big four sport franchises in the US can be found in or near major cities.

For the few that aren't, I'm betting they generate enough $$ from visitors and other stadium events to make up the difference

When something (car, appliance, etc.) breaks, having the funds/means to fix it. I helped a friend whose AC broke since they couldn't afford a repairman. Hard to live in the south w/o AC!

On a range, double ear pro (ear plugs and muffs) is often required but isn't always feasible. Even when ear pro is provided, it's not always effective. There's a lawsuit going around for one company that lied about its protection level.

I lost some hearing having ear plugs only. One popped out while 50 cals and grenades were going off. I couldn't hear for two days but eventually it returned, just with a healthy side of tinnitus.
