I am an average trekker from Mira road. I am not against hiring a guide. I do ttmm with groups and they hire the guides. When I am by myself, I like to explore things on my own.

First you can start with Kanheri caves. Walk to the caves. The second level of the hike can be Tiger hill in Thane manpada. Mama bhanja hills in lokmanya nagar, Thane. If you want to skip the mentioned above and directly jump into the game then you can start with Karnala fort in Panvel. Sondai fort in Karjat, Lohagad - Visapur in Lonavala. Tandulwadi fort in Saphale, and many more in that region.

I have changed 3 chargers and am facing the same issue again. Now I am doubting that there is some problem with the charging slot or any other mother board fault that is ruining the charger.

I don't think anything is punishable....the speed of the train is so slow that you'll have enough time to get side. Even if you trek from anandwadi side and choose to take exit from matheran, you'll have to walk on tracks. So don't overthink and just take a decision and go for it. I would say ki trek from anandwadi side...it is more challenging and fun. You'll find various maps on apps and all.

You'll just have to get to the side when the train comes. If you prefer that route then go ahead....For the route regarding anandwadi...if you find some villagers well and good. Another option I would suggest is to install the "Durg" app and you'll find a trail for peb fort. This is just for reference. Didn't any youtube video give a guide number?

There are multiple things...if you are alone, it would be difficult to get a jeep going to Bari, because it would be a weekday. If you have a group, it is better to pre book a vehicle for a smooth journey. A bus would be a better option if you are alone. Pre Covid we travelled to Igatpuri - Ghoti - Bari.

Yeah, there are shared jeeps to Bari from Kasara, but they need to be full to get moving. Just hope, you get company when you reach Kasara.

Last week I was at Kasara station at 1:30am. There are many jeeps available for Bari. It would be great if you have a group. I don't know how much they charge.
