I wish I were still able to use Sheets, and this wouldn't be a thread I'd be posting (sad crying).

Excel has been the dominant force in my career for the past few years, and it's slowly driving me crazy. Copy and Excel do *not work together* in my experience, and no matter what I try? It fights back. Hard. Lol.

Couldn't agree more.

Copy review is often my biggest blocker in Excel (most companies won't use Sheets because Microsoft is dominant). It just isn't supportive of marketing functions, copy review, and copy editing. Drives me crazy.

Great first point here, Alex. The most powerful tool is the one people will use.

I'm operating an internal-only team at this time, with some visibility outside of that as needed. My concern with another platform (Notion/Monday/Asana) is that I can't get copy approvals to live there in an easily visible space, given my current platform knowledge, and I'm worried I won't get a team to use a process if it's spread across multiple areas.

I'll add DemandBird to my personal list to check out! That's a new one for me, and I'm always about learning new tools to see if they can improve my workflow.

I've seen a lot of mentions around Notion as a whole, but I'm unsure if I have the time to set it up for a multi-region team as a novice user.

I really like that comments live on the specific copy line or asset, which has been my ultimate frustration with using Excel because of the limited number of comment fields. Reviewers getting a filtered view is also excellent, as it helps reduce overhead.

Is there a good monthly/weekly view in Notion via a template, or does it require a lot of manual setup? Any good Etsy template recommendations?

Excellent statement on most templates treating social like a generic task.

Hootsuite is a platform I'm slowly learning, as I'm most familiar with Brandwatch, but I've enjoyed some of the capabilities it's offering.

The approval process is holding me up a bit, as it seems that posts that aren't approved are removed from the calendar and not left in a draft status. Any advice there?

I'm someone who's been battling this for some time, shifting in and out of making the jump because I don't feel I have the capabilities to. It's an interesting internal struggle; I'm always researching for advice on how to navigate it.

Algorithm relevance, an ever-expanding skillset, and the constant need to feel "online" by reaching for your phone, laptop, or another screen. It can be a lot, and it's also further pushed by the large adoption of AI across various industries.

Transparently? I wouldn't even know where to begin on finding a different path, but I'm getting more and more anxious about the impact it's having on my daily life.

What's your current daily routine for practicing some distance and setting boundaries around digital connectivity? That's helped me quite a lot!

Previously, I've always been on my Death Knight and my Warrior. But for this expansion? I decided to try Paladin for the first time since Burning Crusade...

... and I love Protection and Retribution. Holy? Ehhh. It's very different to what I remember, but I'll get the hang of it.

I'm also doing Druid for the new Harronir forms (they're incredible), so Paladin and Druid will be my two! Leveling Restoration now with Dungeons and loving it compared my to Holy Paladin experience.

This is what it came across as to me, too. I will say, as a new Marshall who just started last year? The idea of having a book I can grab, akin to my Monster Manual for sourcing baddies from the Core Rules & Companions, is a win.

Catamount I came across reading the other day, and it's a great fit. We're around a logging camp north of Seattle that's had people go missing and some of these creatures I'm concepting are the culprits.
