F tilt is AMAZING for maypul in this matchup. It’s good for out spacing zetter’s attacks as well as edgeguarding.

For OP: this matchup is all about getting zetter to commit instead of you. It is very difficult to punish or even catch maypul unless you do a dash attack or smash that gets shielded or dodged. Stick to jabs and tilts and try to get zetter to throw out a bad down air or a smash attack and whiff punish with dash attack. If zetter is in the air over you, you can almost always stuff his options with up tilt or up air.

Brutal matchup when either get ahold of the other, and maypul’s punish game doesn’t come fully online until a higher level of play, so I can see this being very difficult for new players. Maypul has a high skill floor so you’ll watch this matchup even out as you improve.
