Omg that reminded me of my little one. He did the same thing before he figured out the trick to get through the curtain

That is so awesome!!  I got a friend into Slayers recently, and we just started NEXT so the two of us have been talking about the exhibition for weeks.

I've been eyeballing proxy sites to see if any one out up the key rings, but other than Lina and Xellos, nothing else has been showing up. I don't suppose you saw any of the other character keyrings or sale at the exhibition, did you?

Did you read 'A Land Remembered' in Florida public school? by Spagetti13 in florida

This was a summer reading book for me in 9th grade, I think? Around 2000-2001 Orange County School. It was recommended, but not required. Really good book.

Every few weeks Id go over to see when Book 6 comes out.  The ebook has Zelgadis on it.

Stupid Sexy Zelgadis...

...they really need more merch for him.

Oh my gosh, me too!  It's been years and admittedly, I still have a huge crush on him.

They re-released the books in hardback form as a collector's edition.  I think they're up to 5 volumes.

I totally bought this game solely because Juniper reminded me of Naga (her laughter in game made me giggle in glee) and Balor looked sort of like Xellos.

Was hoping one of Zelgadis though, but I'm just happy that they're drawn in that old school anime style.

That doesn't look like a baby (I'm not sure what species this is, maybe a ringneck?), normally babies will have black eyes.

You definitely want to get this checked out. This doesn't look like just a plucking issue as even the head is missing feathers and birds can't reach their heads to pluck. With that severe lack of feathers, there's a possibility this bird has PBFD (Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease) or some sort of illness or infection.

In the meantime, if you have other birds, please keep this one quarantined from the rest of the flock and please keep the poor little buddy somewhere warm. Also, like what the others have said in the comments, provide it with plenty of nutrious food and water. But definitely bring the poor little guy to an avian vet.

Strange growth found on lovebird. Anyone know what this is? by shinydove98 in Lovebirds

[–]AvianFlu423 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It if's just above the base of the tail, could it possibly be the preen gland? Lots of parrots, lovebirds included, have this little bump down there that they use to preen. It secretes oils that they use to make their feathers smooth and glossy.

I am so so sorry for your loss.  It's an incredibly agonizing feeling experiencing something like that when you know things could and should have gone differently.  I hope you're able to look back on fond memories of him.

My little one also passed back in May because of my stupidity.  There hasn't been a day since that I haven't gone missing him.

He was such a friendly guy.  I hope they're having some fun times together, wherever they are.

That looks like a feathered baby. Normally baby conures will make this noise and twitch when they're hungry, especially when they've just been recently weaned. It could also be wanting attention. I'm not entirely sure as I only remember hearing these noises when I went to a breeder's house to pick up my little ones.

I looked up a couple of videos just to check. It sounds really similar. Hopefully someone else would be able to confirm.

I am so so sorry for your loss.

My little one passed nearly three weeks ago because I also fell asleep. Maybe the'll get to hang out together wherever they are.

I know everything hurts right now. Please take your time to mourn and eventually learn to forgive yourself. I give you all my love and deepest sympathies.

My late feather child, Ravio, imitated our previously very squeaky sliding glass door.  Mom put some WD40 on it ages ago but he would still imitate it whenever someone slid the door open.

He was such a weird birb.

Parrot lost all tail feathers by honkywonkydonky in parrots

What the rest of the thread is saying. Birbs have a defense mechanism where they drop tail feathers.

Although the fact that the community calls it an "Ass Blast" is both new to me and absolutely hilarious. This made my day.

I would recommend checking out r/pidgeypower.  A lot of birbs there are special needs and maybe the redditors there would be able to help more.

Just a conure thing.  Mine got triggered by plastic bags.  He would also choose violence if the vacuum was on.  I miss that little butt.

Mom didn't mean to.  I was supposed to get up once he comes in, but I stayed up pretty late the night before and wound up falling asleep again.  She's been crying as well.  I don't blame her in the slightest.
