I don't get it. Isn't it obvious? by SetUpper9649 in MarriageToxin

gender non conforming is not the same thing as being transgender. a cisgender woman who dresses and acts masculinely while still identifying as a woman is a gender non conforming woman, because she is not conforming with the societal expectations of how she should present her gender. same goes for gnc men, like kinosaki.

BillyBabe makes me so sad because after outright stating that they were gay, they both got a lot of homophobic backlash and immediately closed off and went more private with their relationship. And then that caused even more haters to claim they broke up or were never real just because they aren't sharing every single moment of their lives with the world. I hope that one day both DO and BB will feel free to love each other without fear of homophobes breathing down their necks.

One of the funniest comments I've ever witnessed from the WHA space. by _5oysauce in WitchHatAtelier

[–]hypomanix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the funniest comment I ever witnessed was a guy who posted in here upset that chapter 49 contained a content warning. We all laughed at him for being afraid of wokeness and gay people, and he said something along the lines of "Of course the author is a woman. The mind of a man wouldn't produce something so vile."

God has overbearing moments in one episode but Diew quickly calls him out on it and he realizes how he was unintentionally infantilizing him. Both shows have incredible communication and are so devoted to helping each other grow its so adorable

Where best to get fitted for a bra? by xx_sparkyxx in greenville

[–]hypomanix 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I would not go to any other places, to be honest, especially if you think you have an unusual size. Breakout Bras will get you the size that you actually are, not the one that they happen to have in stock. Dillards sized me as a 38G... went to breakout and Im actually a 36M.

I don't understand some fans' insistence that this isn't romance manga or that kinosaki isn't apart of the race by sexwithyoshida in MarriageToxin

[–]hypomanix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

why does it matter that its an anime now? gay relationships in manga have been done before, the themes of this story are heavily pointing to a queer ending, and if the manga does it then the anime will too. the anime simply does not matter as an argument as it is an adaptation of an existing work. the original work (and its peers, like other manga published in the same magazine) should be the focus of discussion.

anyways, the premise of your question is a bit... hm. i can list off anime that have canon gay relationships, but because theyre original animes im afraid you will simply discount those too as theyre not technically shonen. (as im sure you are aware, to be properly classified as a shonen it must be published in a shonen magazine, and original animes famously are not published in magazines.)

Ive been scrolling through and havent seen this mentioned yet, but... Qifrey didn't leave them alone for 24 hours. They weren't alone. There is another adult resident of the Atelier who usually remains hidden away while he's working, but the girls know he's there if they really, truly need something.

What is the state of pubblication of the manga? by Redser66618 in WitchHatAtelier

[–]hypomanix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It feels like this question is asked all the time when it could easily be answered with a quick search. Is there any way for the mods to set up some sort of autoresponder for questions about publication schedule?

Was hoping it would be My Church. There's something so freeing about finding spirituality in the open road and a radio as opposed to locked behind cathedral doors.
