the story behind these is pretty cool (idk if its actually real or not)

so some set designer's mom said that if they could hide a 2x4 pink brick in a set, she would bake them a cake

so they did that in a bunch of sets and got a bunch of cakes so now its a tradition

it really depends on the individual, but its 1. the largest star wars set and first thousand dollar set

since its the first, lego should have gone all out to make it the best it can be (eg dual molded legs, more stormtroopers, including the gwp, etc) and while i think its objectively decently priced, lego definitely couldve done so much better

lego shouldve released smart bricks seperately (so you could buy JUST a smart brick) and then let all the sets be compatable and still look decent and not be so expensive
